Ingredients:-
  • Snake gourd - 1
  • Gram Flour - 1 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – ½ to ¾ Tablespoon
  • Cumin Seeds – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Asafoetida – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Baking Powder - A Pinch
  • Salt - As needed
  • Oil - As needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and mix Gram Flour, Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder, Cumin Seeds, Asafoetida, Baking Powder, required salt by pouring required water
  • Heat oil in a pan, deep fry snake gourd rings after dipping it into the batter.
  • Tasty snake gourd ring fry is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Brown Chickpea – ½ Cup Soaked
  • Onion – 1 Medium size
  • Ginger - 1 Inch crushed
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder – 3 Teaspoon
  • Tomato – 1 big size
  • Chicken Masala – 1 Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Raw coconut oil as needed
  • Curry leaves as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation:-
  • Take a cooker and cook brown chickpea
  • Heat a pan and pour 1 to 2 tablespoon coconut oil.
  • Sauté onion by adding a little salt
  • Add crushed ginger and curry leaves and continue sautéing
  • Add ½ Teaspoon Turmeric powder, 1 Teaspoon chilli powder, 2 Teaspoon coriander powder and sauté well
  • Add sliced tomato and sauté
  • Transfer cooked brown chickpea into the pan and mix it well
  • Add 1 Teaspoon chicken Masala, 1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder, ½ Teaspoon pepper powder and sauté well
  • Taste salt and add if required
  • Add garam masala and curry leaves into the pan and continue sautéing
  • Pour raw coconut oil and switch off the stove

Homemade Chicken Nuggets | KFC Mcdonald Style Chicken Nuggets



Ingredients:-
  • Born less chicken – 330 gram
  • Garlic – 6 Pods
  • Ginger – ¾ Inch
  • Pepper Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Soya Sauce – 1 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice – ½ portion squeezed
  • Corn Flour - As needed
  • Beaten Egg - 2
  • Bread Crumbs – As needed
  • Salt to taste


Preparation:-
  • Grind chicken by adding required salt, garlic, ginger, pepper powder, soya sauce and lemon juice.
  • Transfer grinded chicken into a bowl and then mix corn flour to make it thick
  • Cover the vessel and keep it in the fridge for 30 to 45 min
  • After 30 min take out the chicken from the refrigerator and make nuggets shape and coat it with corn flour
  • Dip cornflour coated chicken nuggets into beaten egg and then coat with bread crumbs
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken nuggets both sides until dark Brown
  • Tasty Chicken Nuggets are ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Potato – 3 Medium Boiled
  • Gram flour – 1 Cup
  • Onion – ½ portion of a Medium size
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder - ½ Teaspoon
  • Asafoetida – 1 Pinch
  • Coriander leaves as needed
  • Salt as needed


Preparation:-
  • First let’s smash the potatoes
  • Transfer gram flour into the smashed potatoes and mix it well
  • Add required salt, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, asafoetida and mix it well with smashed potato and gram flour
  • Take handful of potato mixture and make small balls, then flatten the balls to make cutlet shape
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do deep fry. Fry aloo tikki on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty Aloo Tikki / Potato cutlet is ready to serve

  • Banana (Njali Poovan) - 6
  • Wheat flour – 1 Cup

Preparation:-
  • Take a mixer jar and grind banana and sugar without water and make a thick paste

Ingredients:-
  • Raw rice – 1 Cup (Soaked 2 hours in water)
  • Grated Coconut – 1 Cup
  • Fennel Seeds – 2 Teaspoon
  • Onion – ½ Portion
  • Mussels / Kallumakkaya - 15
  • Turmeric Powder – 1 Tablespoon
  • Chilli Powder – 4 Tablespoon
  • Salt as required

 

Preparation:-
  • First let’s clean mussels/Kallumakkaya.
  • Take a mixer jar and grind, soaked raw rice, onion, grated coconut, salt, fennel seeds by adding a very little water.
  • Transfer grinded batter into a vessel.
  • Make a thick paste for the filling by adding rice flour
  • Take each mussels and fill thick batter inside the shell and keep it aside
  • Heat a steamer and place all the filled mussels on top of it and steam it for 20 min
  • Open the lid and let it cool down. After that remove the mussels out of the shell
  • Take a small bowl and mix turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt by adding little water
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil.
  • Dip the mussels one by one into the batter and fry it on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty Ari Kadukka / Kallumakkaya nirachathu is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Chicken Liver – 500 Gram
  • Shallot/Small Onion – 1 ½ Cup
  • Grated Coconut - 1 Cup
  • Chilli Powder – ½ Tea spoon
  • Pepper powder – 1 ½ Tea Spoon
  • Coconut Oil as required
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Salt as required


Preparation:-
  • Take a pan and add up to 2 table spoon coconut oil. Add shallot/Small onion, curry leaves and salt into it and sauté until it become transparent.
  • Transfer liver into the pan and mix it well
  • Add salt and continue sautéing
  • Add chilli powder and pepper powder into the liver and mix it well
  • Add grated coconut into the pan and mix it well
  • Close the pan using a lid and cook well
  • Open the lid and sauté well by adding few curry leaves. Once it become dry switch off the stove
  • Tasty chicken liver roast with coconut is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Rice Flour – 750 Gram
  • Jaggery– 500 Gram melted
  • Banana – 500 Gram grinded
  • Wheat flour – ¾ Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 Table Spoon
  • Ghee – 1 ½ Table Spoon
  • Salt as needed
  • Coconut Oil as needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Add wheat flour into the rice flour and mix it well
  • Pour melted jaggery along with ½ cup water into the rice flour and mix thoroughly
  • Add grinded banana into the flour and mix it using your hand
  • Add cardamom powder, salt and ghee into the dough and mix it well
  • Check the consistency and add more water if required
  • Keep it aside for 15 min to set
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry small portion of the dough for 3 to 4 minutes or until dark Brown

Ingredients:-
  • Egg – 3
  • Besan/Gram flour – ½ Cup
  • Chili Powder – ½ Tsp
  • Garam Masala – A pinch
  • Cumin seeds – ¼ Tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste– ½ Tsp
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed


Preparation:-
  • First let’s boil the egg
  • Once the egg is boiled, cut the eggs into four pieces
  • Take a bowl and add Besan flour, Salt, Chilli Powder, Ginger & Garlic Paste, Cumin Seeds and garam masala and mix well
  • Add ½ Tsp oil into it and mix.
  • Pour water little by little and mix it well till you get the correct consistency
  • Add coriander leaves and mix, batter is ready now
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do deep fry. Dip the egg one by one into the batter and fry it on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty “Egg Pakoda” is ready to serve

Ingredients:-

  • Chicken – 300 gm
  • Potato Boiled– 1
  • Onion – 2 finely chopped
  • Green Chilli - 2
  • Garlic – 2 Pods
  • Ginger – 1 Inch
  • Pepper powder – 2 Tsp
  • Egg white -1
  • Cornflour – 2 Tsp
  • Bread crumbs – ¼ Cup
  • Coriander leaves as needed
  • Salt to taste


Preparation:-
  • Take a cooker, add chicken, salt and pepper powder into it. Pour required water and cook the chicken. 
  • Once chicken is cooked well separate the meat from the chicken born.
  • Crush the chicken using a mixer jar
  • Take a pan and pour little oil, add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste into the pan and sauté well
  • Add chopped onion, salt into it and continue sautéing
  • Add crushed chicken into the pan and mix it well
  • Add pepper powder and mix it again
  • Transfer smashed potato into the pan and mix it well
  • Switch off the stove and then add coriander leaves into the mixture and mix it again
  • Transfer the mixture into to a flat vessel to cool it down
  • Take handful of mixture and make small balls, then flatten the balls to make cutlet shape
  • Beat the egg using a spoon or knife
  • Take cornflour into a small bowl and pour little water and mix well. Pour the Cornflour mixture into the egg white and mix it well
  • Dip the flattened cutlet one by one into the egg white first and then coat the bread crumbs over the cutlet and keep it aside
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do a deep fry. Fry cutlet on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty “Chicken Cutlet” is ready to serve

  • Soaked Green gram/Mung Bean/Cherupayar – ½ Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Maida/All Purpose floor – ½ Cup
  • Jaggery - 2
  • Cardamom Powder – ¾ Tsp
  • Cumin seed powder – ½ Tsp
  • Ginger Powder – ½ Tsp
  • Salt to taste


Preparation:-
  • Take a cooker and add Soaked Green gram, salt into it. Pour required water and cook for two whistle
  • Melt the jaggery by pouring ¼ cup water
  • Take a bowl and transfer cooked Green Gram, Grated Coconut, Cardamom Powder, Cumin seed powder, Ginger Powder and then mix it well
  • Pour melted jaggery into the Green Gram mixture and mix well again
  • Make small balls of lemon size
  • Take a bowl and add maida/All Purpose flour and Salt into it and mix well
  • Pour water little by little into the flour and mix it well by hand or spoon
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do a deep fry.
  • Dip the Green Gram balls one by one into the batter and do deep fry on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty “Sukhiyan/Modakam” is ready to serve

  • Roasted Gram/Pottukadala – 1 Cup
  • Cashew nut – ¼ Cup
  • Ginger – 1 Tsp Inch finely chopped
  • Green Chilli – 2
  • Coriander leaves as needed
  • Curry Leaves as needed
  • Baking Powder – 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste


Preparation:-
  • As a first step grind Roasted Gram/Pottukadala and cashew nuts separately as fine powder
  • Take a bowl and transfer ground Roasted Gram/Pottukadala, Cashew nuts and salt and then mix it well
  • Add chopped ginger, green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves and continue to mix
  • Add baking powder into the flour
  • To make the Pakoda soft add 1 Tbsp oil and mix it again
  • Now pour water little by little and make the dough for pakoda
  • Once the dough is ready keep it aside for 10 min
  • Heat a pan by pouring required oil, fry small portion of the mix in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden Brown. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty “Pottukadala Pakoda” is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Bread – 5 Slices
  • Potato – 2 cooked and smashed
  • Onion– 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic – 5 pods finely chopped
  • Ginger – 1 Inch finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Fennel seeds – ¼ Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - ½ Tsp
  • Chilli Powder – ¾ Tsp
  • Curry Leaves as needed
  • Salt to taste


Preparation:-

  • Take a pan and pour little oil, add fennel seeds and then chopped onion into it and sauté well
  • Add ginger and garlic into the pan and into continue sautéing
  • Add Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder, green chilli, curry leaves into the pan and sauté well
  • Transfer the smashed potato into the pan and mix it well
  • Add required salt and then balance curry leaves into the potato and continue to mix
  • Switch off the stove and transfer the potato masala into a vessel to cool it down
  • Cut the edges of the bread and then using a chapathi roller flatten the bread to make it thin
  • Take each bread slices, fill the masala and fold the bread in Samosa shape. Use water to close the edges
  • Heat a pan by pouring required oil, fry the bread samosa in hot oil 3 to 4 minutes or until golden Brown. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty “Bread Samosa” is ready to serve

  • Badam – 15 Nos
  • Wheat flour – 1/3 cup (80 ml)
  • Sugar – 2 Tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – 3 Nos
  • Baking Powder – 1 Pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as need to fry

 

Preparation:-
  • Cut the dates and remove the seed, then fill it with a Badam and keep it aside
  • Take a bowl and add wheat flour, Salt, Sugar and Baking powder into it and mix well
  • Pour 1/3 cup water little by little into the flour and mix it well by hand or spoon
  • Take the dates one by one and dip it into the batter
  • Heat a pan and pour the required oil to do a deep fry
  • Transfer the dates one by into the hot oil and do deep fry on both sides
  • Dates fritters are ready to serve

  • Besan/Gram flour – 1 Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Green Chilli – 1 Big chopped (1 Tbsp)
  • Ginger – 2 Tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Chili Powder – 1 Tbsp
  • Curry leaves as needed
  • Water as needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a big bowl and add Onion, Besan flour, Salt, Green Chilli, Ginger, Cumin Seeds and Curry powder and mix well
  • Once it is mixed well add chilli powder and pour water (1 ½ Tbsp) little by little and mix
  • Check the consistency by holding the mixture on your palm
  • Heat a pan and pour the required oil. Take a small portal of onion and deep fry it
