Mug Cake is one of the easiest cake anyone can prepare in 2 min. It is prepared using a mug and cooked using Microwave. This is prepared without egg and no oven is used here. Try to prepare this easy mug cake and let me know your feedback.

Ingredients:-

Vanilla Cake

  • All-purpose Flour/Maida –4 Tablespoon
  • Sugar – 3 Tablespoon
  • Baking Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence – ¼ Teaspoon 
  • Milk – 3 Tablespoon
  • Melted butter – 3 Tablespoon
  • Sugar Balls as needed (Optional)

Chocolate Cake

  • All-purpose Flour/Maida –3 Tablespoon
  • Cocoa Powder – 1 Tablespoon
  • Sugar – 3 Tablespoon
  • Baking Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence – ¼ Teaspoon 
  • Milk – 3 Tablespoon
  • Melted butter – 3 Tablespoon

Preparation:- 

  • Take a mug and add all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla essence, milk, melted butter and sugar balls and mix it well
  • Take another mug and add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, vanilla essence, milk, melted butter and mix it well
  • Microwave for 2 min.
  • Tasty vanilla and chocolate cake is ready to serve

Red Velvet Cake| Homemade Soft red velvet cake



Ingredients:-
  • Maida/All-purpose flour – 2 ½ Cup
  • Sugar Powder – 1 ½ Cup
  • Butter (Room Temperature) – 175 Gram
  • Cocoa Powder – 1 Tablespoon
  • Vanilla essence – 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Baking Powder - 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - ½ Teaspoon
  • Butter milk – 1 Cup
  • Egg - 2
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Red food colour as needed

 


Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and mix Maida/All-purpose flour Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Cocoa powder, Salt and sieve the mix multiple times
  • Take another big bowl and add butter into it. Beat the butter till it become soft
  • Add powdered sugar little by little and beat continuously
  • Add Egg one by one into it and beat well 
  • Add vanilla essence and vegetable oil in to the bowl and beat the mixture
  • Add red colour according to the colour you would like to have
  • Add Maida/All-purpose flour, cocoa powder mix and butter milk alternatively little by little and mix it well using cut and fold method
  • Take a baking vessel and cover it with butter. Pour cake mixture till half of the vessel and tap it hard to remove the air bubbles
  • Preheat the oven 180 degree for 10 min
  • Keep the cake tin inside the over for 30 min at 180 Degree
  • To make whipping cream, take 100 ml milk and mix 50 gram whipping cream powder and beat well for 3 to 4 min
  • Take 100 gram cream cheese and add 1 table spoon powdered sugar and beat well at high speed for 3 min
  • Take out the cake after 30 min and keep it aside for cooling
  • Once it is cool down transfer the cake into a plate.
  • Decorate the cake as you like using whipping cream and cream cheese frosting.

Vanilla Chocolate Fusion Cake / Steam Cake / Cooker Cake



 Ingredients:-

Maida / All-purpose Flour - 1 ½ Cup
Sugar Powder – 1 ¼ Cup
Baking Powder - 1 ½ Tsp
Baking Soda – ¼ Tsp
Butter – 125 gm
Egg – 2
Cocoa Powder – 2 Tbsp
Milk – 1 Cup
Vanilla Essence – ½ Tsp


Preparation:-

  • Take a bowl and mix Maida/All-purpose flour Baking Powder and Baking Soda and sieve the mix
  • Take another big bowl and add butter into it. Beat the butter till it become soft
  • Add Egg into it beat well  
  • Add powdered sugar little by little and beat continuously
  • Add Maida/All-purpose flour little by little and beat continuously. Add milk when you find that the mixture is thick
  • Add Vanilla essence to the batter and beat the mixture
  • Take half of the mixture and pour into another vessel
  • Add Cocoa powder into the remaining mixture and mix it with a spoon
  • Take a baking vessel and cover it with butter. Add little Maida into it and spread it across the vessel
  • Add both vanilla and Cocoa mixed batter according to the style you would like to bake
  • Slightly hit on the sides of the vessel to have a proper shape and to avoid any empty spaces inside the batter
  • Take a cooker and add 1 cup of salt into it. Spread the salt evenly and then keep any vessel which would keep the baking vessel little up above the salt
  • Pre-heat the cooker for 5 minutes by closing the lid at high flame
  • Keep the baking vessel into the cooker and close the lid. Keep it in high flame for 5 min and then change the flame to Medium flame for 30 to 40 min
  • Check whether the cakes is baked by using a fork.
  • When the cake is ready then keep it as it is for 5 min
  • Pour half portion of the cake batter into another vessel which is greased by butter. Instead of salt pour water and steam it. It may take another 30 to 40 min to get it steamed
  • Demould the cake once it is cooled
  • Cut the cake into the desired shape and enjoy!

Microwave Sponge Cake


Ingredients:-
Maida    - 50 g
Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp
Sugar      - 50 g
Butter     - 50 g
Milk      - 2 tbls
Egg       -1


Preparation:-
  • Sieve maida and baking powder and keep it aside
  • Powder the sugar and mix well with butter.
  • Add egg and beat well.
  • Add Vanilla essence and milk into the mixture and mix well.
  • Add the flour gradually and fold it carefully.
  • Add the batter into microwave safe cup or dish.
  • Put it into the microwave for 1min.

Chocolate Cake - Our Wedding Anniversary Special



Ingredients
Self raising flour – 200gm
Caster Sugar  -175gm
Cooking chocolate  - 75gm
Butter  - 100gm( at room temperature)
Eggs  - 3
Vanilla extract – 2 Tsp
Milk  - 3 Tbls
Salt – 1/4 Tsp
For icing
Icing sugar – 1 cup
Cooking chocolate – 6 or 7 squares
Unsalted Butter – 1 1/2 Tsp
Vanilla extract  - 1 Tsp
Hot Water or milk  - 1/4 cup

Preparation

  • Using a microwave or double boiler ,melt the cooking chocolate.
  • Sift the flour and salt into a bowl and keep it aside.
  • Add butter into a large bowl and beat until it very soft.
  • Then add caster sugar and beat until the mixture is fluffy.
  • Beat the egg in it one at a time.
  • Add the melted chocolate and vanilla extract until just combined.
  • Add the flour little by little and fold in gently to mix.
  • Add milk to the mixture, a little at a time until smooth (you can add more milk if you want).
  • Divide the batter between two sandwich tin and bake in the oven at 180 °C about 30 min or until a skewer inserted into the middle of each cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and allow to cool completely.


For the frosting

  • Sift the icing sugar into a bowl.Add butter,melted chocolate,Vanilla extract and hot water and beat until smooth.
  • Let it cool for some time.


To assemble

  • Transfer one of the cakes into serving plate.Then add icing into the cake and spread it. (I just added normal butter icing in middle ).
  • Place the second cake on the top of the first.
  • Spread the chocolate icing on the top and sides of the cake.
  • Grate some chocolate over the cake.
