Cauliflower Rice | Cauliflower Pulav



Ingredients:-
  • Cauliflower – 1
  • Cooked Rice – 6 Cup
  • Corn Flour – ½ Cup
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ Teaspoon + a Pinch
  • Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon + ¼ Teaspoon
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cumin Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Onion – 1
  • Tomato Sauce – 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt


Preparation:-
  • Clean Cauliflower and cut into small pieces
  • Take a bowl and add corn flour, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 Teaspoon chilli powder, 1 Teaspoon Kashmiri chilli Powder, salt to taste and mix it well by adding little water
  • Add cauliflower into the batter and mix it well to coat the batter all over
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry Cauliflower and keep it aside
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, onion, salt into it and sauté well
  • Add a pinch of turmeric powder, ¼ Teaspoon Chilli powder and sauté well
  • Add tomato sauce and continue sautéing
  • Transfer fried cauliflower into it and mix well
  • Add cooked rice and mix it well
  • Cauliflower rice is ready to serve

Cauliflower Pakoda / Gobi Pakoda






 Ingredients:-

Cauliflower – 1 Cup
Gram flour/ besan – 5 Tbsp
Chilli Powder - ¾ Tbsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp
Salt as need
Cumin seeds – 1 Tsp


Preparation:-

1. Take Cauliflower in a bowl, add a little Salt, a pinch turmeric powder and chilli powder and mix well. Keep it aside for 10 min
2. Take another bowl to prepare the batter
3. Add Gram flour/ besan, salt, Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin seeds and asafoetida and make a thick batter by adding water and mixing it thoroughly.
4. Once it is mixed add water
5. Dip a cauliflower into the batter and see if it is getting coated all around to confirm the batter thickness
6. Add all the cauliflower into the batter and get it coated all around
7. Take a pan, add enough oil to fry the cauliflower
8. Once the oil became hot add the cauliflower ONE BY ONE
9. Add cauliflower one by one until it cover the oil and fry both sides until it cook
10. Server it hot with tea.

Butter Cauliflower Masala/ Cauliflower Curry




Ingredients:-

Cauliflower - 1 Cup (1/2 part of a medium one)
Potato     - 3/4 Cup
Onion       - A big
Tomato      - 4 ( )
Green Chilli - 1
Coriander Leaves
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Ginger Paste- 1 Tsp
Chilli Powder -1 Tsp
Turmeric – ½ Tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp
Cumin Powder - ¼ Tsp
Garam masala - A pinch
Oil -
Butter - 1 Tbls
Coconut Milk (Optional)   - 1Cup
Salt – As required
Cumin Seeds - 1/4 Tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1/4 Tsp
Star anise-1
Cinnamon     -1
Cardamom     -2
Cloves       -5


Preparation:-

1. Take a kadai add oil and butter. Add cauliflower and potato into it. Sauté well.
2. Take another kadai. Put some oil. Add cumin seeds, Fennel Seeds, star anise, Cinnamon stick, cloves, Cardamom and sauté well.
3. Add onion into it and  stir well. Add salt into it.
4. Add garlic, ginger paste and green chilli .Mix well.
5. Add Chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder. Sauté well till its raw smell goes away.
6. Add tomato puree and cook till its water dries out and stir till the oil comes out, it might take around 5 to 7 min.
7. Add cooked cauliflower and potatoes into it and mix well.
8. Close the lid and cook for 2 min.
9. Add coconut milk and boil for some time.
10. Add some garam masala and coriander leaves .
11. Serve with chapathi, rice etc.

Cauliflower Masala



Ingredients:
      Cauliflower        -1
      Onion                - 2 medium
      Tomato              -2 medium
      Green Chili         -2
      Ginger paste       -1 Tsp
      Garlic paste        -1 Tsp
      Chili powder       -½ Tsp
      Turmeric powder - ¼ Tsp
      Coriander powder - 1 Tsp
      Vegetable masala  -2 Tsp
      Coriander leaves
      Salt
      Water
     Oil
  

       Cut and clean the cauliflower into pieces. Boil Cauliflower in water for 10 min. Drain out the water.
        Heat oil in a pan. Add onion into it and sauté well until it become light brown
       Add green chili, garlic paste and ginger paste and sauté it again.
       Reduce the heat. Add salt, chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and veg masala. Mix it well.
       Add chopped tomato and stir well.
       Add cauliflower and mix well with masala.
       Add a little water and close it lid for 5 min.    Open it and sauté it well.Again close it for 5 min. You can 
a  add water if find water is less. Do it until cauliflower become nicely cooked.
       Add coriander leaves into it.

Cauliflower curry with coconut milk

Ingredients
Cauliflower  -1 medium
Onion  -1
Tomato –2
Green chilli –1
Garlic –1 Tsp(Finely chopped)
Ginger  -1 Tsp(Finely chopped)
Chilli powder  -1 Tsp
Turmeric powder  - 1/2 Tsp
Coriander powder   - 2 Tsp
Chicken masala/Meat masala – 1Tsp
Coconut milk  - 1/2 cup
Salt
water
Oil
Curry leaves.

Preparation

  • Soak the cauliflower floret in warm water mixed with a pinch of turmeric and salt for around 15 minutes. Wash and drain the florets and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in pan and saute chopped onion till transparent.
  • Add salt, ginger,garlic and green chilli and saute for 2 min.
  • Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,chicken masala and stir well.
  • Add Tomato and mix well.
  • After that add the cauliflower floret and curry leaves and mix well to coat all masala into it.
  • Then add water to make enough gravy.Closed the pan and cook for another 15 min.
  • Stir occasionally until the cauliflower cooked.
  • Last add  Coconut milk.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapathis.
