Supporta Pudding | Chiku Pudding| Easy Chikkoo Pudding recipe | Special Pudding


Ingredients:-

  • Suppota / Chikku – 5
  • Milk – ½ Litre
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Condensed Milk – ¼ Cup
  • China Grass – 10 Gram 
  • Chocolate Chips as needed

Preparation:-

  • Cut china grass into small pieces and soak it into 1 Cup water 
  • Clean supporta / Chikku and cut into small pieces
  • Take a mixer jar and grind supporta/chikku along with sugar
  • Heat a pan and pour soaked china grass along with water into it and melt 
  • Boil milk, while boiling pour condensed milk. Add ground supporta/chikku and mix it well
  • Pour melted china grass and mix it well
  • Take a glass bowl and pour the mixture into it. Keep it aside for cooling. Decorate the pudding using choco chips or nuts.
  • Keep the pudding inside the refrigerator for 30 min
  • Tasty Supporta Pudding / Chikku Pudding is ready to serve

Eenth or Cycads is used to prepare nutritious dishes. It is a rich source of proteins, carbohydrates and helps to control blood pressure. Eenthu Virakiyathu looks like a Payasam with less sweetness. Eenth Virakiyathu or  Cycads pudding one of the healthy dish you must try at home when you get dried Eenthu or Cycads.

Eenthu Virakiyathu |  Cycads pudding | Special Eenthu Payasam


Ingredients:-

  • Eenthu (Cycads) – 1 ½ cup Soaked in water
  • Jaggery – 250-300 gram
  • Coconut milk – 1 ½ Cup
  • Cardamom – 3 
  • Ghee – 1 Tsp
  • Chana dal (Cooked) – ¼ Cup 
  • Salt a pinch

Preparation:-

  • Grind eenthu/ Cycads by adding water
  • Melt jaggery
  • Take a vessel and add ground eenthu, melted jaggery, coconut milk and cardamom
  • Switch on the stove and stir well
  • Add ghee into it and mix it well
  • Add salt as required
  • Once it start boiling add cooked chana and mix well 
  • Stir continuously until it reaches the required consistency 
  • Tasty Eenthu Virakiyathu / Cycads pudding is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Banana (Njali Poovan) – 5
  • Coconut Milk – ¾ Cup
  • Shallot – ¼ Cup
  • Sugar – 5 Tablespoon
  • Ginger extract - 1 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice - 1 Teaspoon
  • Dry Fruits as required
  • Beaten Rice to serve

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and mix shallot and sugar well
  • Smash Banana
  • Add shallot sugar mixture into banana and mix it well
  •  Pour ginger extract and lemon juice and mix it again
  • Pour coconut milk into the mixture and mix it well
  • Tasty Kochikoya is ready to serve
  • You may serve by adding kochikoya over the beaten rice or pour kochikoya in a glass and then add beaten rice on top of it.

Coconut Phirni | Diwali Special Phirni Sweet


Ingredients:-

  • Milk - 2 cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – 1/3 Cup
  • Rice Flour – 2 Teaspoon
  • Cardamom Powder – 4 Pinches
  • Ghee - 2 Teaspoon
  • Cashew and Pista for garnishing


Preparation:-
  • Blend grated coconut if require add milk
  • Heat ghee in a pan and sauté blended coconut
  • Pour milk into the pan, once it starts boiling add sugar
  • Add rice flour and cardamom powder and mix it well
  • Once it reaches the required consistency switch off the stove
  • Transfer the phirni in a vessel and decorate it with Cashew and Pista. Keep Phirni in a refrigerator
  • Tasty Coconut Phirni is ready to serve

Navarathri Special Rava Kesari | Semolina Kesari


Ingredients:-
  • Rava / Semolina – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – 1 Cup
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Water – 1 Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 3 Crushed
  • Cashew nuts and Raisins as required
  • Ghee as required


Preparation:-
  • Heat ghee in a pan and sauté cashew nuts and raisins and keep it aside
  • Heat required ghee in a pan and sauté rava/semolina until its colour changes
  • Heat water and milk in a pan and allow it to boil
  • Transfer fried rava/semolina into the pan and stir continuously
  • Add a little food colour of your choice (Optional) and then sugar into the pan and mix it well
  • Add powdered cardamom powder, cashew, raisins and a little ghee into the pan and mix it again
  • Tasty Rava / Semolina Kesari is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Milk – 2 Cup
  • Beaten Rice/Aval – 1 ¼ Cup
  • Ground Nut – ½ Cup
  • Cashew Nut – Around ¼ Cup
  • Sugar – 3 ½ to 4 Tbsp
  • Banana Yelakki or Robust– 3
  • Tutti frutti as needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a pan and shallow fry Aval/beaten rice
  • Roast groundnut as well
  • Take a mixer jar, add ½ cup Aval/Beaten rice, 2 Tbsp Ground nuts, 1 Banana, 2 Tbsp Sugar, 1 Cup Milk, and Cardamom powder and grind it well
  • Pour the mixture into the milk and mix it well
  • Peel off the banana and smash it using a fork or knife    
  • Now take two glasses and let’s set
  • First add smashed banana into the glass then groundnuts, aval/beaten rice, Tutti frutti, cashew nuts and finally pour the milk
  • Tasty Aval Milk is ready to serve

Double Layer Pudding | Milk and Tender Coconut layered pudding



Ingredients:-

Layer 1
  • Cold water – ½ Cup
  • Gelatine- 1 Tbsp
  • Milk – 1 Cup
  • Milkmaid – ½ Cup


Layer 2

  • Cold water – 1 Cup
  • Gelatine- 2 Tbsp
  • Tender coconut water – 2 Cup
  • Sugar – 5 Tbsp


Preparation:-

Layer1

  • Take ½ cup water and mix 1 Tbsp gelatine and keep it aside
  • Take a pan and boil 1 cup milk. Add ½ cup milkmaid and mix well
  • Add Gelatine into the milk and stir well
  • Keep the vessel into a water to get it cool
  • Take another vessel to set the first layer. Pour the milk mixture into it and keep it in a fridge/freezer


Layer 2

  • Take 1 cup water and mix 2 Tbsp gelatine and keep it aside
  • Take another vessel with 2 cup tender coconut water and add 5 Tbsp Sugar
  • Double boil the gelatine by keeping the gelatine mixed bowl into a boiling water until it melts
  • Transfer the gelatine into the tender coconut mixed with sugar and stir well
  • Take out the first layer from the fridge/freezer, make sure first layer is set and soft before pouring the second layer mixture
  • Pour the tender coconut mixture on top of the first layer and then keep the vessel inside the fridge/freezer
  • Two layer pudding (Milk and Tender Coconut) is ready!
