Thattukada style Kappa Mutta | Kappa Mutta Biriyani| Kappayum muttayum



 Ingredients:- 

  • Tapioca – 750 gm
  • Egg - 6
  • Onion – 3
  • Ginger – ½ inch
  • Garlic – 5 Pods
  • Green Chilli - 2
  • Curry leaves
  • Turmeric – ½ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Coconut Oil


Preparation:-
  • Cook Tapioca by adding salt, Turmeric and water
  • Heat a pan add Coconut Oil
  • Add ginger, garlic, green chilli, curry leaves and sauté well
  • Add onion, salt and sauté well
  • Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder and sauté again
  • Add eggs and mix well
  • Add pepper powder and garam masala and mix
  • Add Tapioca and mix

Ingredients:- 

  • Bread Slice - 2
  • Egg – 2
  • Milk – 3 Tblspoon
  • Grated Carrot – 1 Tblspoon
  • Cheese -2 Tbls
  • Pepper Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Tomato Sauce or pizza sauce
  • Butter
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Salt As needed


Preparation:-
  • Cut the bread slice 
  • Beat the egg by adding milk and salt
  • Add egg into bread and mix
  • Add carrot and pepper powder and mix
  • Heat pan and add butter
  • Pour egg and bread mixture into it
  • Cover and cook 3 to 5 min low flame
  • Flip to the other side
  • Add sauce and spread it
  • Add cheese and chili flakes 
  • Cover it again cook for another 2 more min

Every home in a week on rotation vellayappam/appam is prepared as one day’s breakfast. This soft vellayappam/appam can be eaten with varieties of curries like Kadala, Cherupayar, Stew etc but famous curry to be used along with vellayappam is egg curry / mutta curry. Healthy Jowar Appam | Jowar Vellayappam | Easy and healthy breakfast | Jowar Flour Palappam


Ingredients:-

  • Jowar Flour – 2 Cup
  • Rice flour – 1 Cup
  • Aval – ½ Cup
  • Yeast - 1/ 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt As needed
  • Water


Preparation:-

  • Take a mixer jar and add Jowar, rice flour, yeast, sugar, water and grind it well
  • Transfer the ground batter into a vessel and add salt on top of it. Keep it aside for 6 to 8 hours
  • After 8 hours take out the batter and stir it well
  • Heat a pan suitable to make appam (Appam Chatti) and pour a spoon full batter and spread it over. Close the vessel using lid for 2 to 3 min.
  • After 2 to 3 min take out the appam
  • Tasty Jowar appam / Vellayappam is ready to serve

Ingredients:-

  • Broccoli – 1 Head 
  • Potato – 2
  • Capsicum – ½ portion
  • Onion – 1 Medium size
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Dried chilli flakes – ½ Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:-

  • Cut Broccoli into small pieces
  • Cut onion, potato, capsicum into small pieces
  • Heat oil in a pan and add potato and sauté well
  • Add broccoli, capsicum, onion salt to taste and mix it well
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli flakes, pepper powder and sauté well
  • Pour 2 table spoon water and then close the pan and cook well, open in between and stir well to avoid burning
  • Switch off the stove
  • Tasty Broccoli Potato stir fry is ready to serve

Ragi Pathiri or Ragi flour nice pathiri is one of the easy breakfast you can prepare at home. There is no special ingredients required to prepare Ragi pathiri. If you are bored of eating same breakfast then try this Malabar special nice pathiri recipe you will love it. You may use stew or any other breakfast curry for this Raagi Pathiri. Try to make this super nice pathiri / Ragi flour pathiri and let us know your feedback. 

Ragi Pathiri| Ragi Flour Pathiri | Malabar Special Soft Pathiri using Muthrari Flour


Ingredients:-

  • Ragi Flour – 1 ½ Cup
  • Water – 1 ½ Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 Teaspoon

Preparation:-

  • Boil water in a pan and add salt into it
  • Pour little oil while boiling the water
  • Keep the flame low and add Ragi flour into the boiled water and mix it well
  • Switch off the stove and keep it aside to cool down
  • Knead the dough well
  • Make medium size balls to make the Pathiri
  • Take one of the balls and place it in a presser. Press the ball to make it flat 
  • If you don’t have a presser, take one of the balls and place it on a flat surface dusted with wheat flour.  Using a rolling pin, roll the ball to a circular shape. Cut it using a sharp rounded vessel to get the exact circle shape
  • Heat a dosa tawa and keep one Pathiri at a time and cook both sides
  • Tasty Ragi flour Pathiri is ready to serve.

Rava Urulakizhangu Poori | Rava Potato Poori| Rava Aloo Poori | Special Breakfast


Ingredients:-

  • Rava / Semolina – ¾ Cup
  • Wheat Flour – 1 Cup
  • Potatoes Boiled – 2
  • Coriander leaves – ¼ Cup
  • Dried red chilli – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cumin Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Chat Masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt as required
  • Oil as required

Preparation:-

  • Grate potato
  • Take a vessel and add rava / Semolina and pour hot water. Keep it aside for 10 min
  • Add grated potato, salt to taste, dried red chilli, cumin seeds, chat masala, coriander leaves and mix it well
  • Add wheat flour little by little and make a thick dough.
  • Apply little oil on top of the dough and keep it aside for 10 min
  • After 10 min mix the dough well. If required add little more wheat flour to make proper poori dough
  • Make small balls and flatten the dough by using rolling pin or a presser
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry both sides at low to medium flame
  • Tasty Rava Potato Poori / Semolina Urulakizhangu Poori is ready to serve

  • Tomato - 1 Medium Chopped
  • Garlic – 25 Pods Crushed

  • Green Chilli – 2 Sliced
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Turmeric Powder– ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder –1 ½ Tablespoon
  • Coriander Powder – 2 Teaspoon
  • Cumin Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed

Preparation:-

  • Soak Crushed soya chunks in hot water for 10 to 15 min
  • Heat oil in a pan, sauté cumin seeds
  • Add onion, green chilli, garlic, tomato, salt to taste and sauté well
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and mix it well
  • Add green peas and mix it well
  • Pour required water and cook well by closing the vessel
  • Add soya chunks keema and cook well by pouring required water
  • Add garam masala, fresh coriander leaves and mix it well and then switch off the stove
  • Tasty Paneer Matar Masala / Paneer green peas Masala curry is ready to serve

Broken Wheat Upma | Soochi Gothambu Uppumav | Nurukku Gothambu Uppumav


Ingredients:-

  • Broken Wheat – 1 ½ Cup
  • Onion – ½ 
  • Carrot – ½
  • Green Chilli – 1
  • Ginger – ½ inch
  • Curry Leaves as required 
  • Mustard Seeds – 1 Teaspoon
  • Urad Dal – 1 Table spoon
  • Ghee – 1 Table spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Preparation:- 

  • Take a pan, add oil and heat
  • Splutter mustard seeds
  • Add urad dal and sauté
  • Add onion, carrot, ginger, green chilli and curry leaves and sauté well
  • Add water and Salt to taste into it and boil
  • Add broken wheat and mix well
  • Close the lid and cook for 4 to 5 min in low flame
  • Open the lid and add ghee into it and mix it
  • Close with a lid and switch off the flame
  • Tasty Broken wheat Upma/ Nurukku Gothambu Uppumav is ready to serve

Ingredients:-

  • Banana Stem sliced - 1 cup
  • Green gram (Soaked) – ¼ Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Green chilli – 2
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Grated coconut – ½ Cup
  • Raw coconut oil

Preparation:-

  • Clean and cut Banana stem into small pieces
  • Take a cooker and Cook green gram by adding required salt and water
  • Add banana stem, green chilli, salt to taste, and turmeric powder, curry leaves required water and cook again
  • Smash banana stem and then add grated coconut and mix it well
  • Switch off the stove and pour a little raw coconut oil
  • Tasty banana stem cherupayar puzhukku is ready to serve.
  • Serve it hot with rice, Chappathi!

  • Puttu – 2 (Crushed)
  • Onion – 1 small chopped
  • Carrot – 1 Small Chopped
  • Green Chilli - 1
  • Mustard Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Grated Coconut – ¼ Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry Leaves leaves

Preparation:-

  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds. 
  • Add onion, carrot, green chilli , curry leaves and required salt and sauté for 2 min 
  • Transfer crushed puttu and mix it well
  • Add grated coconut and mix
  • Tasty Puttu Upma is ready to serve

White Sauce Pasta | White Sauce Pasta Recipe | Creamy Pasta Recipe

White Sauce Pasta

Ingredients:-

For Pasta Cooking

  • Pasta – 2 Cup
  • Water - 5 Cup
  • Salt
  • Oil – ¼ teaspoon
  • Vegetables for Pasta
  • Onion - Medium
  • Carrot - Small
  • Capsicum – ½ Portion
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper Powder
  • Chilli flakes
  • Oil

White Sauce

  • Butter – 4 Table spoon
  • Maida/All-purpose flour – 4 Tablespoon
  • Milk – 2 Cup
  • Pepper Powder - ½ Teaspoon
  • Cheese as required

Creamy White Sauce Pasta

Preparation:-

  • Boil water and cook Pasta by adding salt and oil 
  • Drain the water and pour cold water to avoid overcooking
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion, carrot, capsicum. Add salt to taste, pepper powder, chilli flakes and continue sautéing 
  • Heat Butter in a pan add Maida/All-Purpose Flour and sauté well
  • Pour milk and mix it well
  • Add ½ Teaspoon pepper powder and mix it again
  • Switch off the stove once it reaches the required consistency
  • Add cheese, vegetables and Pasta into the sauce and mix it well
  • Finally pour Milk to have the required consistency you like
  • Tasty white sauce Pasta is ready to serve

Soft and Instant Ragi Flour Idly | Ragi Podi Idly?


Ingredients:-

  • Ragi flour – 2 Cup
  • Rava/Semilona – ½ Cup
  • Curd – 1 Cup
  • Baking Soda – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water – 1/3 Cup

Preparation:-

  • Take a bowl and add ragi flour, rava/Semolina and mix it well
  • Add curd into the bowl and mix it again
  • Pour water little by little and mix it well until it reaches the required consistency and then keep it aside for 30 min
  • After 30 min open the lid and mix it again. Add baking soda, salt to taste and mix it well
  • Take an idly plate and fill the moulds with batter and steam it for 10 to 12 min
  • Using a spoon remove the idly from the plate and serve it hot

  • Take a mixer jar and add Rice, Aval, required water and grind it well
  • Transfer the ground batter into a vessel and keep it for 10 min
  • Add salt and grated coconut into it and mix well
  • Heat a pan and pour a spoon full batter and spread it over. Close the pan using a lid for 2 to 3 min and flip the dosa 
  • Tasty Dosa is ready to serve

Rava dosa is easy to make and no fermentation required. To make perfect crispy Rava Dosa, the batter has to be thin or watery. You can make the Rava Dosa plain or you may add onion on top of it. Only few ingredients are required for making Rava Dosa. It is always better to eat Dosa as soon as it is prepared otherwise Dosa may not be cryspy. Hot Rava Dosa and a coconut chutney is a perfect combination for breakfast. Please prepare this Crispy Rava Dosa as I showed in the video and let me know your feedback.

  • Rava/Semolina – 2 Cup
  • Rice flour- 3 Tablespoon
  • Curd – ½ Cup
  • Water – 3 Cup

  • Green Chilli – 1

  • Ghee as needed
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:-

  • Take a mixer jar and add rava/Semolina, Rice Four, Curd, required water and grind it well
  • Transfer the ground batter into a vessel and add salt into it. Keep it aside for half an hours
  • After half an hour take out the batter and add chopped onion, green chilli, curry leaves and stir it well
  • Heat a pan and pour a spoon full batter and spread it over. Close the vessel using a lid for 2 to 3 min.
  • Add ghee on top of Dosa and flip the dosa 
  • Tasty rava dosa is ready to serve

Upma is prepared many ways. Rava/Sooji, Broken wheat etc are the main ingredients we use while preparing Upma. Here I am showing Upma recipe prepared using vermicelli. This vermicelli uppumavu is very soft and each vermicelli is separate from each other. Vermicelli uppumav can be prepared as breakfast as well as evening snack. Semiya Uppumavu | Vermicelli Upma | Breakfast Upma

Ingredients:-

  • Vermicelli - 2 Cup
  • Mustard Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Dry red chilli – 2
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Urad dal – ½ Teaspoon
  • Chana dal – 1 Teaspoon
  • Peanut 1- 1 Tablespoon
  • Ginger- ¼ Teaspoon chopped
  • Onion – 1 small chopped
  • Carrot – ¼ cup chopped
  • Beans- ¼ Cup chopped
  • Lemon juice- ¼ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves

 

Preparation:-

  • Boil water in a vessel with required salt and then add vermicelli and cook for 2 min
  • Drain the water
  • Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds. Add dried red chilli, Curry leaves, Urad dal, Chana dal, peanuts and sauté well
  • Add chopped ginger and sauté again
  • Add onion, carrot, beans and required salt and cook well for 2 min by closing the pan
  • Transfer cooked vermicelli and add some ghee into it and mix it well
  • Add coriander leaves and lemon juice into it and mix it well
  • Tasty Vermicilli Upma is ready to serve

Chena Kaya Erisseri

Ingredients:-

  • Plantain - 1
  • Elephant Yam – A small portion
  • Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp
  • Chilli Powder- 1 ½ Tsp
  • Grated Coconut – 1 Cup
  • Green Chilli - 1
  • Cumin Seeds – ¾ Tsp
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Dry red chilli -2
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt

 Koottucurry Style Erisseri

 Preparation:-

  • Add Elephant Yam, Plantain, salt, Turmeric powder, chilli powder and water into a cooker and cook well
  • Grind ½ Cup coconut, green chilli and cumin seeds by adding required water
  • Add ground coconut into cooked vegetables. Add curry leaves and boil
  • Add coconut oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds. Add remaining coconut, Curry leaves, dry red chilli and sauté well
  • Add fried coconut into the curry
  • Tasty Chena Pachakaya Erisseri is ready to serve
