Ingredients:-

  • Pineapple  – 900 grm
  • Sugar - 750 gm
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Cinnamon – 1 piece
  • Cloves -3
  • Water – 1 1/2Litre
  • Yeast – 3/4 Teaspoon
  • Whole wheat or broken wheat– 1 1/2 Tablespoon

Preparation:-

  • Take a big pot/vessel and add sliced pineapple, sugar into it and mix it well 
  • Add cloves, cinnamon mix it again.
  • Add yeast into the vessel and mix it again
  • Pour cooled boiled water into the vessel and mix it well. Make sure you leave 25% space as it the mixture will rise gradually.
  • Add wheat and mix well.
  • Close the vessel using a lid and also cover it using a cloth
  • Keep it in a dark place and stir well everyday morning around same time for 2 to 3 min for next 20 days
  • 21st day Open the cover and stir well and then filter the wine.
  • Pour the wine into a bottle.

Nellikka Wine at Home in 21 days | Gooseberry Wine at home


Ingredients:-

  • Gooseberry – 1 Kg
  • Sugar - 600 gm
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Cinnamon – 4 pieces
  • Cloves -10
  • Mace Strand - 2
  • Water – 1 ½ Litre
  • Yeast – 1 Teaspoon
  • Whole wheat – 1 Table Spoon

Preparation:-

Day 1

  • Boil water in a pan by adding all the spices and sugar
  • Transfer gooseberry into the vessel and pour boiled water into it
  • Once it is cool down close the vessel and keep it aside for a day

Day 2

  • Open the vessel and add Yeast into it
  • Take whole wheat in a cloth and put it into the vessel
  • Stir the mixture with a dry and neat spatula and close the vessel and keep it aside
  • Stir the wine daily for 20 days
  • 21st day drain the wine into a vessel, tasty gooseberry wine is ready to use

Ingredients:-
  • Black Grapes – 1 Kg
  • Beetroot – A small piece
  • Sugar - 750 gm
  • Cardamom - 5
  • Cinnamon – 3 pieces
  • Cloves -10
  • Water – 1Litre
  • Yeast – 1 Teaspoon
  • Whole wheat – 1 Tablespoon


Preparation:-

Day 1
  • Take a vessel and add grapes, sugar, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon into it.
  • Pour water into it and boil it for 15 min in low to medium flame by closing the lid
  • Switch off the stove and keep the vessel a side for a day

Day 2
  • Open the vessel and add Yeast into it
  • Stir the wine with a dry and neat spatula and close the vessel and keep it aside

Day 3
  • Stir the wine
  • Transfer the wine into stone jar or other container
  • Take the whole wheat in a cloth and put it into the jar
  • Close the jar and cover it with a cloth. Keep it aside for another day.

Day 4
  • Stir the wine and then again cover it and keep it aside

Day 5
  • Stir the wine and then strain the wine into another vessel and then to a wine bottle
  • Tasty wine is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Banana (Palayamkodan)– 1 Kg
  • Sugar – 1 Kg
  • Yeast – 1 Teaspoon (Soaked in 4 Teaspoon warm water)
  • Cloves - 3
  • Cinnamon – Small Piece
  • Mace – Small Piece
  • Whole Wheat – 1 ½ Table Spoon
  • Dried red chilli – 3
  • Cooled Boiled water – 2 Litre

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a big pot/vessel and add sliced banana, sugar into it and mix it well  
  • Add yeast into the vessel and mix it again
  • Add cloves, cinnamon, mace, wheat, dried red chilli and mix it again.
  • Pour cooled boiled water into the vessel and mix it well. Make sure you leave 25% space as it the mixture will rise gradually.
  • Close the vessel using a lid and also cover it using a cloth
  • Keep it in a dark place and stir well everyday morning around same time for 2 to 3 min
  • Open the cover and stir well. Make sure to use same wooden spatula without any water content.
  • Close the vessel again using a lid and also cover it using a cloth.
  • Open the cover and stir well and then filter the banana pulp.
  • Pour the wine into a bottle. Tasty banana wine is ready to serve.
