How to prepare Jowar Pathiri| Jowar Flour Pathiri | Malabar Special Soft Pathiri using Sorghum Flour
Jowar Pathiri or Jowar flour nice pathiri is one of the easy breakfast you can prepare at home. There is no special ingredients required to prepare Jowar pathiri. Jowar Pathiri| Jowar Flour Pathiri | Malabar Special Soft Pathiri using Sorghum Flour
Ingredients:-
Jowar Flour (Sorghum) – 1 Cup
Water – 1 Cup
Oil – 1 Teaspoon
Sesame Seeds Black – ½ Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Preparation:-
Boil water in a pan and add salt into it
Pour little oil while boiling the water
Keep the flame low and add Jowar flour into the boiled water and mix it well
Switch off the stove and keep it aside to cool down
Knead the dough well
Add sesame seeds and mix it well
Apply little more oil and kneed it again
Make medium size balls to make the Pathiri
Take one of the balls and place it in a presser. Press the ball to make it flat
If you don’t have a presser, take one of the balls and place it on a flat surface dusted with wheat flour. Using a rolling pin, roll the ball to a circular shape. Cut it using a sharp rounded vessel to get the exact circle shape
Heat a dosa tawa and keep one Pathiri at a time and cook both sides

Salt to taste

Red rice (Matta Rice) Soaked – 2 Cup
Beaten Rice (Aval) – 1 Cup
Grated Coconut -
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Preparation:-
Take a mixer jar and add Rice, Aval, required water and grind it well
Transfer the ground batter into a vessel and keep it for 10 min
Add salt and grated coconut into it and mix well
Heat a pan and pour a spoon full batter and spread it over. Close the pan using a lid for 2 to 3 min and flip the dosa

Ingredients:-
Green gram (Soaked) -
1 Cup
Onion – 1 Small
Green Chilli – 2
Coconut grated – ½
Cup
Turmeric Powder – ½
Teaspoon
Red chilli powder –
½ Teaspoon
Cumin Seeds - ¼ Teaspoon
Mustard Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves as

Preparation:-
Take a cooker and add soaked green gram, onion, green
chilli, salt to taste, turmeric powder, chilli powder and pressure cook the
green gram by adding required water
Take a mixer jar and grind coconut and cumin seeds
Add ground coconut into cooked green gram and mix it well.
Add required water and allow to boil
Heat oil in a pan add splutter mustard seeds and transfer it
into curry
