Chocolate Donut | Perfect doughnut | Sugar Coated Donut
Ingredients:-
- Dried Yeast – 1 Teaspoon
- Sugar - 2 Teaspoon
- Warm Milk – ½ Cup
- All-purpose Flour/Maida – 2 Cup
- Butter – 2 Teaspoon
- Egg – 1
- Vanilla essence – ½ Teaspoon
- Salt a pinch
Preparation:-
- Take a bowl and add yeast, sugar and milk. Mix it well and keep it aside for 10 min
- Take a big bowl and add all-purpose flour, a pinch of salt, butter and mix it well
- Add one egg and pour yeast mixture, vanilla essence and make dough
- If dough looks more watery spread Maida little by little and make a soft dough
- Keep it aside for 1 hour by applying oil or cover it with wet cloth
- After an hour mix it again. If it’s watery apply Maida on your hand
- Spread Maida on a floor and flatten the dough
- Cut it in round shape using a cutter or round vessel. Make a hole at the middle using a small cutter or bottle cap
- Spread Maida on a flat vessel and place the donut shaped dough on to it
- Keep it aside for 30 min after applying oil on top of it and cover it with a wet cloth
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry both sides.
- To make sugar coated Donut, grind sugar with cinnamon and dip the donut on top of the sugar powder
- Take a bowl add ½ Cup sugar powder, ½ Tablespoon cocoa powder and then add milk little by little to make a thick paste.
- Dip donut into this chocolate mixture.
- Tasty sugar coated and chocolate coated donut is ready to serve
