How to prepare Rava Burfi at Home | Semolina Coconut Burfi at home

 Ingredients:-
  • Semolina – 1 Cup
  • Milk – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Grinded Cashew nut – 3 to 4 Tablespoon
  • Ghee – 5 Tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Almond sliced – 3 to 4 Tablespoon


Preparation:-
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry semolina well
  • Add milk into the pan and stir continuously
  • Add grated coconut into the pan and mix it well
  • Add Ghee and grinded cashew nuts into the pan
  • Add sugar into the pan
  • Add ghee again
  • Add Cardamom powder and mix it well
  • Switch off the stove once it reaches the required consistency
  • Take a greased vessel and transfer the Burfi mixture into it
  • Spread sliced almond on top of it and allow it to set
  • Once Burfi is set, cut it into the desired shape and serve

Ingredients:-
  • Dates – 250 Gram
  • Sugar – 4 Tablespoon
  • Ghee – 5 Tablespoon
  • Cashew Nuts as needed
  • Almond as needed


Preparation:-
  • Grind the dates using a mixer and make a thick paste
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts and almond
  • Transfer grinded dates paste into the pan and stir continuously  
  • Add sugar into the pan
  • Add Ghee into the pan
  • Add fried Cashew and Almond into the Halwa
  • Switch off the stove once it reaches the required consistency
  • Take a greased vessel and transfer the Halwa mixture and into it and allow it to set
  • Once Halwa is set cut it into the desired shape and serve

Ingredients:-
  • Fresh cream – 1 Cup
  • Condensed Milk – ½ Cup
  • Pista grinded – 3 Tablespoon
  • Pista Crushed – 3 Tablespoon
  • Green food Colour – A pinch


Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and beat fresh cream.
  • Add condensed milk into the cream and beat until it become thick
  • Add a pinch of green food colour and grinded Pista and mix it well
  • Add crushed Pista into the bowl and mix
  • Transfer the Ice Cream mixture into a container to set and keep it in the freezer for minimum 8 Hours
  • After 8 hours tasty Pista Ice cream can be served

Ingredients:-
  • Dates - 30 (Soaked in warm water)
  • Coconut milk 2nd Extract– 1 ½ Cup
  • Coconut Milk 1st Extract– ¾ Cup
  • Jaggery – 100 Gram
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 Tea Spoon
  • Dry Ginger Powder - ½ Tea Spoon
  • Coconut Pieces - 2 to 2 ½ Table Spoon
  • Cashew Nuts as needed
  • Raisins as needed
  • Ghee as needed
  • Salt – A pinch


Preparation:-
  • Blend Dates into a smooth paste
  • Take a pan and add ghee. Fry Coconut pieces, Cashew nuts and Raisins and Keep it aside.
  • Add some more ghee and add dates paste and stir well for 5 to 6 min
  • Add second coconut milk into the pan and boil
  • Once it start boiling add jaggery syrup into it and boil until it gets a thick consistency
  • Add cardamom powder and Dry Ginger Powder
  • Add a pinch salt and mix well
  • Switch off the stove
  • Add first extract of coconut milk, fried coconut pieces, cashew nuts and raisins and mix it well
  • Tasty Dates pradhaman is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Milk Powder – 2 Cup
  • Sugar – ¾ Cup
  • Milk – ½ Cup
  • Ghee – ½ Cup
  • Badam and Pista as needed
  • Cocoa Powder – 1 Tea Spoon

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat ghee in a pan and pour milk into it
  • Add milk powder into the pan and stir continuously
  • Add sugar into the pan and allow it to melt by mixing it continuously
  • Stir continuously until it become thick
  • Transfer half portion in a tin
  • Add cocoa powder into the pan and mix it well
  • Once Cocoa Powder mixed properly switch off the stove
  • To set, grease the ghee in a tin and transfer cocoa powder mixture and flatten it properly
  • Transfer plain milk powder mixture on top of the Cocoa Powder Mixture and flatten it properly
  • Add Badam and Pista on top and allow it to cool
  • Cut the burfi in to the desired shape

Ingredients:-
  • Rice Flour – 750 Gram
  • Jaggery– 500 Gram melted
  • Banana – 500 Gram grinded
  • Wheat flour – ¾ Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 Table Spoon
  • Ghee – 1 ½ Table Spoon
  • Salt as needed
  • Coconut Oil as needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Add wheat flour into the rice flour and mix it well
  • Pour melted jaggery along with ½ cup water into the rice flour and mix thoroughly
  • Add grinded banana into the flour and mix it using your hand
  • Add cardamom powder, salt and ghee into the dough and mix it well
  • Check the consistency and add more water if required
  • Keep it aside for 15 min to set
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry small portion of the dough for 3 to 4 minutes or until dark Brown

Ingredients:-
  • Grated coconut – 3 Cup
  • Sugar powder – 2 Cup
  • Milk – 1 Cup
  • Cashew Nuts – 3 Table Spoon
  • Cardamom Powder – ½ Tea Spoon
  • Ghee – 1 to 2 Table Spoon

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat a pan by pouring ghee and fry cashew nuts
  • Add grated coconut into the pan and mix well
  • Add powdered sugar into the coconut and mix it well
  • Pour milk into the mixture and stir continuously
  • Switch off the stove once it reaches the consistency
  • Take a bowl by greasing the ghee and transfer the coconut mixture into it
  • Flatten the mixture and keep it aside to let it cool
  • Cut the burfi into desired shape and serve!!!

Ingredients:-
  • Beetroot grated – 300 Gram
  • Milk – 750 ml mixed with 250 ml water
  • Sugar – 1 Cup
  • Vermicelli – ¼ Cup
  • Cashew as needed
  • Dry grapes as needed
  • Cardamom – 1 Tea Spoon
  • Dry Ginger Powder – ½ Tea Spoon
  • Ghee – 2 ½ to 3 Table Spoon

 

Preparation:-

  • Take a vessel and heat 1 to 1 ½ table spoon ghee, fry cashew nuts and raisins and keep it aside.
  • Fry vermicelli also in the same vessel and keep it aside
  • Add 1 Table spoon ghee again and sauté beetroot well
  • Add fried vermicelli into the beetroot and mix it well
  • Pour milk and water mixture into the vessel and stir continuously
  • Once it start boiling add sugar and stir continuously until it reaches the consistency
  • Add cardamom powder and dry ginger powder and mix it well
  • Add fried cashew nuts and raisins
  • Switch off the stove
  • Beetroot Semiya Payasam is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Broken Wheat – 1 Cup
  • Coconut First Milk – ½ Cup
  • Coconut Second Milk – 1 Cup
  • Jaggery – ½ Kg melted
  • Dry ginger powder – ½ Tea Spoon
  • Cardamom Powder - ½ Tea Spoon
  • Cumin Seed Powder – ½ Tea Spoon
  • Cut Coconut – 3 Table Spoon
  • Cashew Nuts as needed
  • Raisins as needed
  • Ghee as required

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a cooker and heat 1 to 1 ½ table spoon ghee, add cut coconut and stir well until it become golden brown.
  • Fry cashew nuts and raisins in the same vessel and keep it aside.
  • Add ½ table spoon ghee, broken wheat and sauté well
  • Add 2 cup of water and cook broken wheat by closing the cooker lid
  • Add jaggery syrup and mix it well
  • Stir continuously until it become thick
  • Pour coconut milk extracted second time and mix well and allow it to boil
  • Add cardamom powder, cumin seed powder, and dry ginger powder and mix it well
  • Switch off the stove and pour coconut milk extracted first time and mix well
  • Add cut coconut, cashew and raisins
  • Broken Wheat Pradhaman is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Dates – 1 Cup
  • Peanut – ¼ Cup
  • Pistachio – ¼ Cup
  • Cashew nuts – ¼ Cup
  • Almond - ¼ Cup
  • Walnut   - ¼ Cup
  • Raisins - 1 Table spoon
  • Poppy seeds – 1 Tea Spoon
  • Cardamom powder – ½ Tea Spoon
  • Ghee – As needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a mixer jar and grind Peanut, Pistachio, cashew nuts, almond, and walnut
  • Crush dates also using a mixer jar separately
  • Heat a pan by pouring required ghee and sauté crushed dry fruits
  • Transfer the crushed dates into the pan and mix it well
  • Once dates and dry fruits are mixed well, add raisins, poppy seeds and Cardamom powder into the pan and mix it well
  • Switch off the stove when all the ingredients are mixed well
  • Transfer the sautéed dry fruits into a flat surface
  • Once the mixture is warm mix it well using your hand
  • Take a portion of the dry fruits and shape into Laddu
  • Tasty and healthy dry fruit laddu is ready to serve

Ingredients:- 
  • Soaked Fenugreek seeds – ¼ cup
  • Unakkalari – 1 Cup
  • Jaggery syrup – 250 Gram melted
  • Coconut Milk – 1 ¼ Cup
  • Salt - 1 pinch


Preparation:-

  • Take a cooker and cook Soaked Fenugreek seeds by adding required water for one whistle
  • Open the lid after one whistle and unakkaliri into it. Pour required water and cook for two more whistle.
  • Pour jaggery syrup into the cooker and mix it well. Make sure you stir continuously. 
  • Pour coconut milk and again mix it well
  • Add salt into the “Kanji” and allow it to boil
  • Once it starts boiling switch off the stove
  • Tasty Ulava Kanji / Karkkidaka Kanji is ready to serve

Ingredients:-

  • Soaked Green gram/Mung Bean/Cherupayar – ½ Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Maida/All Purpose floor – ½ Cup
  • Jaggery - 2
  • Cardamom Powder – ¾ Tsp
  • Cumin seed powder – ½ Tsp
  • Ginger Powder – ½ Tsp
  • Salt to taste


Preparation:-
  • Take a cooker and add Soaked Green gram, salt into it. Pour required water and cook for two whistle
  • Melt the jaggery by pouring ¼ cup water
  • Take a bowl and transfer cooked Green Gram, Grated Coconut, Cardamom Powder, Cumin seed powder, Ginger Powder and then mix it well
  • Pour melted jaggery into the Green Gram mixture and mix well again
  • Make small balls of lemon size
  • Take a bowl and add maida/All Purpose flour and Salt into it and mix well
  • Pour water little by little into the flour and mix it well by hand or spoon
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do a deep fry.
  • Dip the Green Gram balls one by one into the batter and do deep fry on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty “Sukhiyan/Modakam” is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Milk – 2 Cup
  • Beaten Rice/Aval – 1 ¼ Cup
  • Ground Nut – ½ Cup
  • Cashew Nut – Around ¼ Cup
  • Sugar – 3 ½ to 4 Tbsp
  • Banana Yelakki or Robust– 3
  • Tutti frutti as needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a pan and shallow fry Aval/beaten rice
  • Roast groundnut as well
  • Take a mixer jar, add ½ cup Aval/Beaten rice, 2 Tbsp Ground nuts, 1 Banana, 2 Tbsp Sugar, 1 Cup Milk, and Cardamom powder and grind it well
  • Pour the mixture into the milk and mix it well
  • Peel off the banana and smash it using a fork or knife    
  • Now take two glasses and let’s set
  • First add smashed banana into the glass then groundnuts, aval/beaten rice, Tutti frutti, cashew nuts and finally pour the milk
  • Tasty Aval Milk is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Milk – ½ Litre
  • Semolina/Rava – 3 Tbsp
  • Vermicelli / Semiya – 1 Tbsp
  • Sugar – 5 Tbsp
  • Water – ½ Cup
  • Coconut Milk– ½ Cup
  • Ghee – 1 Tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – 1 Tsp
  • Shallot/Small Onion – 3 chopped
  • Cashew nuts as needed
  • Raisins as needed
  • Salt a pinch to balance the taste

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat a pan and add Ghee into it. Add Semolina/Rava and then Vermicelli / Semiya and sauté well
  • Pour milk and water into the pan and cook Semolina/Rava. Make sure you stir continuously to avoid Semolina/Rava become thick
  • Add Sugar into the milk and stir well
  • Add cardamom powder and stir continuously
  • Pour coconut milk and mix it well
  • Add a pinch of salt to balance the taste
  • Switch off the stove once it reaches the consistency
  • Heat a pan and add Ghee into it. Add chopped shallot/small onion into it. Add Cashew nuts and then raisins and sauté well 
  • Transfer the onion, cashew and raisins mix into the Semolina/Rava milk
  • Tasty Semolina/Rava milk or Thari kanchi  is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Maida/All-purpose flour – 1 Cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1 Cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Sugar – 4 Tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – ½ Tsp
  • Cashew nuts as needed
  • Raisins as needed
  • Ghee – 1 Tbsp
  • Salt to taste

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat a pan and add oil into it. Add Cashew nuts and then raising and sauté well 
  • Add grated coconut and then add 3 Tbsp sugar into the pan and continue sautéing
  • Add cardamom powder into the mix by keeping a pinch for the batter
  • Switch off the stove and keep the fillings aside
  • Now to prepare the batter
  • Take a bowl and beat the egg
  • Add maida/all-purpose flour, salt, 1 Tbsp balance sugar, cardamom powder into it and mix it well
  • Pour water little by little and make batter for dosa
  • Take a dosa tawa and make dosa
  • Now fill the coconut mixture into the dosa and fold it
  • Tasty Elanchi is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Banana (Nenthra Pazham) – 1 Cut into small pieces
  • Sugar – 3 to 4 Tbsp
  • Egg - 2
  • Cardamom Powder – 6 Crushed
  • Cashew as needed
  • Raisins as needed
  • Ghee – 2 to 3 Tbsp


Preparation:-
  • Take a vessel and beat the eggs well by mixing the sugar
  • Heat a pan and add ghee into it. Add Cashew and then raisins and sauté well and transfer that into a vessel.
  • Add little more ghee into the same pan and add banana into it and fry it until light brown
  • Transfer the fried banana into the beaten egg and mix it well
  • Add cardamom powder into it 
  • Add little more ghee and transfer the egg and banana mix into it and then add cashew and raisins into the mixture and cook well for 10 to 15 min
  • Make sure you keep the flame low otherwise it may burn
  • Tasty kaipola is ready to serve
