How to prepare Sweet Thukada | Evening Snack | Special Diwali Sweet
Sweet Thukada is prepared using Maida and Rava. It is very easy to prepare and preserve it for couple of days. Sweet Thukada or this evening snack is coated with sugar and because of that kids enjoy eating this. Sweet Thukada is very easy to prepare. It can be used as Naalumani palaharam/evening snack.
Sweet Thukada | Evening Snack | Special Diwali Sweet
Ingredients:-
- Maida- ½ Cup
- Rava – 1 Tablespoon
- Sugar -½ Cup
- Powdered Sugar (Add 1 cardamom) – 1 Tablespoon
- Baking Soda – A pinch
- Salt – A Pinch
- Ghee – 1 Teaspoon
- Warm Milk – ¼ Cup
- Oil
Preparation:-
- Mix maida, rava, baking soda salt and powdered sugar
- Add milk and make dough and rest it for half an hour
- Make balls and roll out into thin chapathi shape
- Cut it into desired shape
- Fry both sides
- Make a sugar syrup and dip the fried items into it
- Tasty Thukada / Diwali Sweet is ready to serve
