Banana Cake | Naalumani Palaharam



Ingredients:-
  • All-purpose Flour/Maida – ½ Cup
  • Baking Soda – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Baking Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Sugar Powder – 40 Gram
  • Unsalted butter – 40 Gram
  • Salt a pinch
  • Egg – 1 in room temperature
  • Vanilla essence – ¼ teaspoon
  • Milk – 1 Tablespoon
  • Banana – 2 Small


Preparation:-

  • Take a bowl and sieve ½ Cup all-purpose flour, ½ Teaspoon baking powder, ¼ Teaspoon baking soda
  • Take another big bowl and add 40 gram powdered sugar, 40 gram melted butter, a pinch of salt and beat it well
  • Add 1 egg kept in room temperature, ¼ teaspoon Vanilla essence and beat it again for a minute
  • Add 1 Tablespoon Milk into the bowl and beat again for a minute
  • Add 2 small banana into the bowl and smash it well
  • Transfer All-purpose flour mixture little by little and mix it well
  • Take a baking tin and apply butter on top of it. Transfer the cake mixture and tap it couple of times
  • Preheat the oven for 10 minute by keeping the temperature at 175 degree.
  • Keep the cake tin inside the oven and bake for 30 min.
  • Tasty banana cake is ready to serve

Banana Steam Cake |  Nenthrapazham Rice Snack | Naalumani Palaharam



Ingredients:-
  • Banana -2
  • Rice Flour – 1 Cup
  • Jaggery (Grated) – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Dry Ginger Powder – a Pinch
  • Coconut Pieces as needed
  • Salt – A pinch


Preparation:-
  • Cut banana into small pieces
  • Heat water in a pan and make jaggery syrup
  • Add banana pieces into the syrup and cook well
  • Smash cooked banana
  • Add rice flour over smashed banana and mix it well
  • Pour jaggery syrup into it and mix it well
  • Add cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, coconut pieces and salt into the mixture
  • Take a vessel and apply ghee on top of it. Pour banana mixture into it and steam it for minimum 10 min using an idly vessel.
  • Transfer it into a vessel and tasty Banana snack is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Sweet Corn – 2 Cup
  • Corn flour – ¼ Cup
  • Rice Flour – ¼ cup
  • All-purpose flour – 1 Tablespoon
  • Pepper powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chilli powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Cumin Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chat masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required


Preparation:-
  • Add corn into a vessel and boil it for a min or two by adding required salt
  • Strain the water using strainer and transfer strained corn into a vessel
  • Add corn flour, rice flour, all-purpose flour, salt to taste, pepper powder and mix it well
  • Make sure to get proper coating over each corn. You may add additional corn flour and sprinkle water to get proper coating.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry coated corn
  • Add a little salt, Cumin powder, Chilli powder, Chat masala and mix it well.
  • Serve it by adding chopped onion and coriander leaves

Dates Chappathi
Ingredients:-

  • Dates – 15 (Crushed)
  • Wheat flour (Atta) – 1 Cup
  • Ghee as required
  • Salt as required

Eenthappazham Chappathi

Preparation:-
  • Add wheat flour in a mixing bowl
  • Add water gradually and knead into a soft dough
  • Makes medium balls of the dough
  • Roll them into a circle
  • Add a portion of the dates paste in the centre
  • Seal it and round it
  • Roll them again
  • Heat a pan and cook the chapathi. Apply ghee on both sides
  • Dates chapathi is ready to serve

  • Take a mixer jar and add cut banana, pomegranate, condensed milk, milk and ice cubes and grind it well.

Ingredients:-
  • Dates – 10
  • Semolina – ½ Cup
  • All-purpose Floor – 3 Tablespoon
  • Egg - 1
  • Sugar – 3 Tablespoon
  • Cardamom Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Cashew Nuts as required
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon
  • Baking Soda – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Milk – ½ Cup
  • Salt - A pinch
  • Oil as required


Preparation:-
  • Take a vessel and Beat egg and Sugar
  • Add All-purpose flour and Semolina and mix well
  • Pour milk into it mix it again
  • Add dates, cashew nuts, cardamom Powder, ghee, baking soda and salt and mix well
  • Keep the mixture aside for at least 2 hours
  • Pour water to reach the required consistency and mix it well
  • Heat 9 or 12 cavity appam making vessel and add 2 tablespoon oil in each cavity. Pour batter into each cavity and cook in low flame.
  • Flip it over and cook the other side
  • Once it done transfer into a serving bowl

  • Ripe Banana -2
  • Egg -1
  • Sugar – 1 ½ Tablespoon
  • Dry ginger powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Cashew nuts as needed
  • Raisins as needed
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon


Preparation:-
  • Take a cup and beat the egg
  • Cut the banana into small pieces
  • Heat ghee in a pan and then add cashew and raisins and fry for 2 to 3 min
  • Add banana, egg, sugar and dry ginger powder and sauté for another 5 min
  • Kaikritha / Egg Banana evening Snack is ready to serve

  • Brinjal – 1 Big
  • Turmeric Powder– ½ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Curd - 3 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste



Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and add Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder, Kashmiri Chilli Powder, coriander Powder, Garam Masala, salt to taste and Curd and mix it well to make a thick paste
  • Cut the Brinjal into small slices
  • Marinate the Brinjal with the masala and keep it aside for 10 min
  • Pour oil in a frying pan and fry the Brinjal both sides
  • Tasty Brinjal Fry is ready to serve
  • Serve it hot with rice

  • Semolina – 1 Cup
  • Egg – 1
  • Sugar – ¼ Cup

  • Cardamom Powder – 5 Pods Crushed

Preparation:-
  • Beat egg by adding sugar, milk and cardamom powder
  • Add semolina little by little and mix it well using your hand
  • Make small balls using your hand
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry each rava balls

Ingredients:-
  • Tomato – 4 Medium Sliced
  • Onion – 1 Small Sliced
  • Garlic – 5 Pods
  • Ginger – ¼ Inch
  • Green Chilli - 1
  • Coriander Leaves as required
  • Cumin Seeds – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee – 1 ½ tablespoon
  • Basmati Rice – 1 ½ Cup
  • Water – 2 ¼ Cup


Preparation:-
  • Heat ghee in a cooker and sauté cumin seeds
  • Add ginger and garlic and continue Sautéing
  • Add Onion and green chilli sauté
  • Add tomato, salt to taste, turmeric powder, and chilli powder and sauté it again
  • Add washed rice and mix it well and then pour water
  • Taste the salt and add if required. Close the lid and cook for one whistle at high flame and then another whistle at medium whistle
  • Open the lid and add coriander leaves and mix it gently
  • Tasty Tomato rice is ready to serve

  • Condensed Milk – 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt a pinch
  • Cardamom – 4 pods
  • Ice Cubes as required

  • Take a mixer jar and add lemon juice by squeezing lemon, sugar, ginger, cardamom, soaked cashew nuts, grated coconut and grind it well
  • Add condensed milk, ice cubes and 2 cup water and grind it well
  • Filter (optional) lemon juice
  • Tasty lemon juice is ready to serve.

  • Cooked Rice – 6 Cup
  • Palak – 1 Bundle (10 leaves)
  • Onion – ½ portion
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Garlic – 4 pods
  • Cumin Seeds – ½ teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt to taste



Preparation:-
  • Boil palak by adding required water
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, garlic and sauté well
  • Add onion, green chilli, salt to taste and continue sautéing
  • Add grinded palak paste and turmeric powder into the pan and sauté well
  • Transfer cooked rice and mix it well
  • Tasty Palak rice is ready to serve.

  • Red grapes – 500 gram

Preparation:-
  • Add grapes, cardamom and sugar in a pan and boil by adding 1 cup water
  • Switch off the stove and then add lemon juice and mix it well. Keep it aside for cooling.
  • Grind grapes and filter it using a filter
  • Keep the squash in an air tight container
  • To prepare the squash for drinking, add 3 to 4 tablespoon squash and mix it with water.

Ingredients:-
  • Wheat floor – 1 ½ Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ¾ Cup
  • Grated Jaggery – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 8 pods crushed
  • Cumin Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Ginger Powder – 1 Pinch
  • Ghee – ½ table spoon
  • Salt – 1 Pinch
  • Water as required

 

Preparation:-
  • Take wheat floor in bowl and add salt into it and mix it well
  •  Pour ghee and mix it again
  • Pour water little by little and mix it well until you get the required consistency
  • Take grated coconut, grated jaggery, cardamom powder, cumin powder, ginger powder in a bowl and mix it well
  • Take a banana leaf and add required batter and flatten it over the leaf. Add required coconut mixture on top of it and fold it
  • Taken an idly vessel with required water and steam Ada for 15 to 20 min
  • Tasty gothambu Ilayada is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Urad Dal – 1 Cup
  • Egg - 2
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom – 5
  • Baking Powder – ½ Teaspoon

 

Preparation:-
  • Grind urad dal, egg, sugar, cardamom powder, baking powder using a grinder by adding ½ Cup water
  • Transfer the mixture into bowl. Add required water and mix it well. Keep it aside for 10 min.
  • After 10 min mix it well
  • Heat 9 or 12 cavity appam making vessel, pour oil and then pour urad dal mix into each cavity
  • Flip it over to cook the other side
  • Tasty Uzhunnappam is ready to serve

Ingredients:-

  • Milk - 2 cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – 1/3 Cup
  • Rice Flour – 2 Teaspoon
  • Cardamom Powder – 4 Pinches
  • Ghee - 2 Teaspoon
  • Cashew and Pista for garnishing


Preparation:-
  • Blend grated coconut if require add milk
  • Heat ghee in a pan and sauté blended coconut
  • Pour milk into the pan, once it starts boiling add sugar
  • Add rice flour and cardamom powder and mix it well
  • Once it reaches the required consistency switch off the stove
  • Transfer the phirni in a vessel and decorate it with Cashew and Pista. Keep Phirni in a refrigerator
  • Tasty Coconut Phirni is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Beaten Rice / Aval – 1 Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Grated Jaggery – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom – 5
  • Cashew nuts and Raisins as required
  • Ghee – 8 Tablespoon


Preparation:-
  • Heat 5 table spoon ghee in a pan and sauté cashew nuts and raisins and keep it aside
  • Same pan and ghee add beaten rice and sauté
  • Heat 3 table spoon ghee in a pan and sauté grated coconut
  • Grind fried beaten rice along with cardamom and keep it aside
  • Grind fried grated coconut and jaggery
  • Add fried cashew nuts and raisins into the bowl and mix everything well
  • Take a portion of beaten rice mixture and shape into laddu
  • Tasty beaten rice/Poha/Aval laddu is ready to serve
