How to prepare Egg Peas | Green Peas and Egg snack | Calicut Beach Special Green Peas and Egg Masala

Egg and Peas is one of the favorite evening snack you may get it from Calicut beach. Green Peas and egg masala is very easy to prepare and it tastes very good. If you have a hot tea along with this egg and green peas then you may forget whether you are in beach or at home. Please follow the way I have prepared egg and green peas masala and let me know your feedback.

Egg Peas | Green Peas and Egg snack | Calicut Beach Special Green Peas and Egg Masala

Ingredients:-

  • Green peas – ½ Cup Soaked
  • Onion – 1 Medium
  • Green Chilli -1
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Egg – 2
  • Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Oil as required

Egg Peas | Green Peas and Egg snack | Calicut Beach Special Green Peas and Egg Masala

Preparation:-

  • Cooke green peas by adding salt to taste and required water in a cooker
  • Cut onion and green chilli into small pieces
  • Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion, green chilli, curry leaves and sauté well
  • Transfer cooked green peas into the pan and mix it well
  • Add eggs and salt as required, pepper powder into the pan and mix it again
  • Tasty egg – Pease stir fry is ready to serve

Fish Fry Style Paneer Fry | Special Paneer Fry



Ingredients:-
  • Paneer – 100 Gram
  • Turmeric Powder– ¼ Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Rice Flour – 2 Tablespoon
  • Coriander Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Curd - 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed


Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and add curd, rice flour, turmeric Powder, chilli Powder, pepper powder, salt to taste and mix it well to make a thick paste
  • Marinate paneer with the masala and keep it aside for 10 min
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and fry marinated paneer both sides
  • Serve it hot

Ingredients:-
  • Pappad – 6 to 8
  • Shallot as required for masala
  • Dried Red Chilli as required
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Coconut oil as required

 

Preparation:-
  • Take required pappad and dip it in water
  • Crush shallot, curry leaves, salt dried red chilli
  • Transfer the crushed mixture into a vessel and then add coconut oil and mix it well using your hand
  • Take pappad one by one and then keep small portion of the mixture and roll
  • Press both ends of pappad to avoid the masala falling outside
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry each side

Uzhunnu Unniyappam | Uzhunnappam


Ingredients:-
  • Urad Dal – 1 Cup
  • Egg - 2
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom – 5
  • Baking Powder – ½ Teaspoon

 

Preparation:-
  • Grind urad dal, egg, sugar, cardamom powder, baking powder using a grinder by adding ½ Cup water
  • Transfer the mixture into bowl. Add required water and mix it well. Keep it aside for 10 min.
  • After 10 min mix it well
  • Heat 9 or 12 cavity appam making vessel, pour oil and then pour urad dal mix into each cavity
  • Flip it over to cook the other side
  • Tasty Uzhunnappam is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Chicken boneless - 1 cup
  • Onion chopped – 1 Medium Size
  • Chicken stock – 2 Tablespoon
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves as required

Omelette
  • Egg – 4
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt to taste

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion by adding little salt
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, garam masala, curry leaves into the pan and continue sautéing
  • Transfer cooked chicken in to the pan and mix it well
  • Add chicken stock and mix it again
  • Break all 4 eggs into a bowl, add salt to taste, turmeric powder pepper powder and mix it well
  • Heat a pan and spread oil and pour half portion of egg mixture and make omelette
  • Keep omelette in a plate and add chicken mixture on top of it and roll the omelette
  • Tasty Omelette chicken roll is ready to serve

Aval Laddu | Beaten Rice Laddu | Poha Laddu | Evening Snacks



Ingredients:-
  • Beaten Rice / Aval – 1 Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Grated Jaggery – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom – 5
  • Cashew nuts and Raisins as required
  • Ghee – 8 Tablespoon


Preparation:-
  • Heat 5 table spoon ghee in a pan and sauté cashew nuts and raisins and keep it aside
  • Same pan and ghee add beaten rice and sauté
  • Heat 3 table spoon ghee in a pan and sauté grated coconut
  • Grind fried beaten rice along with cardamom and keep it aside
  • Grind fried grated coconut and jaggery
  • Add fried cashew nuts and raisins into the bowl and mix everything well
  • Take a portion of beaten rice mixture and shape into laddu
  • Tasty beaten rice/Poha/Aval laddu is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Boiled Banana - 3
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Sugar – 4 Table Spoon
  • Cardamom Powder – 5 Crushed
  • Beaten Egg – 2
  • Bread Crumbs as required
  • Oil as required

Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and smash boiled banana
  • Add grated coconut, sugar and cardamom powder into the bowl and mix it well
  • Take handful of banana mixture and make small balls, then flatten the balls to make cutlet shape
  • Dip the flattened cutlet one by one into the beaten egg first and then coat the bread crumbs over the cutlet and keep it aside
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do a shallow fry. Fry cutlet on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty Banana Cutlet is ready to serve

Perfect Payyoli Chicken Fry | Payyoli Special Chicken Fry



Ingredients:-
  • Chicken – ½ Kg
  • Whole Kashmiri Chilli – 12
  • Turmeric Powder – ¾ Teaspoon
  • Chicken Masala- 2 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ¾ Teaspoon
  • Ginger paste-1 Teaspoon
  • Grated coconut- ¾ Cup
  • Vinegar- 1 Tablespoon
  • Curry Leaves as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed


Preparation:-
  • Boil Kashimiri chillies for 10 to 15 min
  • Take out the chillies from water and grind it
  • Marinate the chicken by adding 2 to 2 ½ Tablespoon Kashmiri chilli paste, salt to taste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ginger paste, chicken masala, garam masala, curry leaves and vinegar
  • Keep it inside the refrigerator for at least half an hour to get it set
  • Take a bowl and add Kashmiri chilli paste, salt, turmeric powder, grated coconut and mix it well
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken pieces and keep it aside
  • Fry the grated coconut into the same oil by adding few curry leaves
  • Once the coconut is crispy add fried chicken in to it and mix well
  • Tasty Payyoli Chicken Fry is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Banana – 2
  • Semolina – ¾ Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Sugar – 3 Tablespoon
  • Cardamom Powder-¼ Teaspoon
  • Sesame Seeds- ¼
  • Ghee – 2 Tablespoon
  • Oil – For frying


Preparation:-
  • Cut banana into small pieces
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry banana pieces
  • Add grated coconut, sugar and mix well
  • Smash the cooked banana
  • Add semolina into the banana mix and fry well
  • Add cardamom powder and sesame seeds and mix well
  • Mix the banana semolina mixture using your hand
  • Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into balls
  • Deep fry the balls
  • Tasty Banana Rava balls are ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Idly – 6
  • Onion Sliced -1 medium size
  • Ginger Chopped – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Green Chilli Chopped - 2
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Mustard Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Dried Red Chilli – 2
  • Urad Dal – ¾ Teaspoon
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil or Ghee as needed


Preparation:-
  • Crush idli as per the size you would like to make Upma
  • Heat ghee in a pan and splutter mustard seeds
  • Add dried red chilli and urad dal and sauté well
  • Add onion, green chilli, ginger, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt to taste and continue sautéing 
  • Transfer crushed idli into the pan and mix it well
  • Tasty Idli Upma is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Rice flour – 1 Cup
  • Shallot – 20 Pods
  • Grated Coconut – ¾ Cup
  • Mustard Seeds –½ Teaspoon
  • Dry Red Chilli - 4
  • Salt as needed
  • Curry Leaves as required
  • Ghee as needed
  • Oil as needed
  • Water – 1 Cup

Preparation:-
  • Take 1 Cup water in a vessel and add salt into it
  • Add rice flour into it and mix it well
  • Switch on the stove and keep it in high flame. Stir the mixture continuously.
  • Once it become thick switch off the stove and allow it to cool
  • Add ghee into the pan and knead it well.
  • Take small portion of the dough and make small balls
  • Steam rice balls until it cook
  • Heat Oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds. Add dried red chilli, Curry leaves and shallot and sauté well
  • Transfer steamed rice balls into the pan and mix it well
  • Finally add grated coconut and then switch off the stove
  • Tasty Kozhukkatta/Rice balls is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Baby Corn - 10
  • All-purpose flour/Maida - ½ Cup
  • Cornflour – 2 Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cloves – 3
  • Onion – 1 Medium
  • Capsicum – ½ Portion
  • Garlic – 4 Pods
  • Ginger – ½ Teaspoon
  • Spring Onion – 4 to 5 stem
  • Red Chilli Sauce – 1 Tablespoon
  • Tomato Sauce – ½ Cup
  • Soya sauce – 2 Tablespoon
  • Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Water - ¼ Cup
  • Salt as required
  • Oil as required

 
Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl, add All-purpose flour/Maida, corn flour, chilli powder, salt and then mix it well.
  • Pour water little by little and make thick batter.
  • Add baby corn into the batter to coat it properly and keep it aside for 10 min
  • Fry coated baby corn both sides
  • Heat oil in a pan, add cloves, onion, capsicum, garlic, ginger, salt as required and sauté well
  • Add chopped spring onion
  • Add red chilli sauce, soya sauce and tomato sauce into the pan and mix it well
  • Transfer fried baby corn into the pan and mix it well
  • Add ¼ Cup water and then pepper powder into the pan and mix it well
  • Once the gravy become thick switch off the stove
  • Tasty Baby Corn Manchurian is ready to serve

  • Add onion, beans, carrot, coriander leaves and mix it well.
  • Keep idli making vessel in a stove and pour Omelette in each mould
  • Steam for 3 to 5 min, tasty vegetable omelette is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Milk – 500 ml
  • Banana – 2
  • Sago Rice – ½ Cup
  • Sugar – 1/3 Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Salt a pinch
  • Ghee as required
  • Cashew nut and Raisins as required

 

Preparation:-
  • Take a pan a boil milk
  • Add Sago rice into the milk and cook well
  • Add cut banana and sugar into the milk and cook well
  • Add cardamom powder and salt into the pan and mix it well and then switch off the stove
  • Take a pan and heat 1 to 1 ½ table spoon ghee. Fry cashew nuts and raisins.
  • Transfer cashew and raisins into the Aval Paal Vaazhakka
  • Tasty authentic paal vazhakka is ready to serve

Ingredients (Filling):-
  • Banana (Nendran) – 1 Sliced
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Sugar – 2 Tablespoon


Ingredients:-
  • Wheat flour – 1 ½ Cup
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required


Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and add sliced banana, grated coconut, cardamom powder, sugar into it and mix it well
  • Take wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and mix it properly. Add water little by little and knead it well
  • Now take one of the balls and place it on a flat surface dusted with wheat flour. Using a rolling pin, roll the ball to a circular shape
  • Keep one sheet and fill banana mix, keep another on top of it and press all the sides
  • Steam the sweet using a cooker for around 10 min
  • Tasty Gothambu Banana sweet is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Beaten Rice – ½ Cup
  • Milk – ½ Litre
  • Banana (Nendran) - 1
  • Sugar – 1/3 Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Ghee as required
  • Cashew nut & Raisins as needed

 

Preparation:-
  • Cut banana into small pieces
  • Take a pan a boil milk
  • Add beaten rice into the milk and cook well
  • Add cut banana and sugar into the milk and cook well
  • Add cardamom powder into the pan and mix it well and then switch off the stove
  • Take a pan and heat 1 to 1 ½ table spoon ghee. Fry cashew nuts and raisins.
  • Transfer cashew and raisins into the Aval Paal Vaazhakka. Close the pan for some time.
  • Tasty Aval Paal Vaazhakka is ready to serve
