Nenthrapazham Cutlet | Sweet Banana Cutlet



Ingredients:-
  • Boiled Banana - 3
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Sugar – 4 Table Spoon
  • Cardamom Powder – 5 Crushed
  • Beaten Egg – 2
  • Bread Crumbs as required
  • Oil as required

Preparation:-
  • Take a bowl and smash boiled banana
  • Add grated coconut, sugar and cardamom powder into the bowl and mix it well
  • Take handful of banana mixture and make small balls, then flatten the balls to make cutlet shape
  • Dip the flattened cutlet one by one into the beaten egg first and then coat the bread crumbs over the cutlet and keep it aside
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil to do a shallow fry. Fry cutlet on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
  • Tasty Banana Cutlet is ready to serve

  • Cut onion into medium size and chop using mini chopper
  • In a bowl beat egg by adding required salt
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion by adding a little salt
  • Pour beaten egg and then add green chilli and curry leaves into the pan and sauté well
  • Add pepper powder and mix it well and the switch off the stove
  • Tasty egg burji is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Onion – 2
  • Soya Chunks – ¾ Cup (Soaked ½ an hour in boiled water)
  • Turmeric powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder- 1 Teaspoon
  • Chicken Masala – 1 to 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder – 1 ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala -1/2 Teaspoon
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil as required

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion by adding a little salt
  • Add soya chunks and continue sautéing
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and sauté
  • Add chicken masala and mix
  • Add water required to cook the Soya chunks and close the pan with a lid
  • Add pepper powder and curry leaves into the pan and mix it well
  • Add required salt and garam masala and fry till its colour changes
  • Soya chunks fry is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Egg Boiled- 3
  • Onion – 3 Medium Sliced
  • Tomato – 2 Medium
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Chilli Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Pepper Powder - ½ Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala - ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt as required
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Oil as required

 

Preparation:-
  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion by adding a little salt and then green chilli
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder pepper powder and continue sautéing
  • Add tomatoes, curry leaves into the pan
  • Add salt if required and then add garam masala and mix it well
  • Take a banana leaf and burnt it using low flame
  • Transfer ¼ portion of masala into the leaf and then keep eggs on top of it and again add ¼ portion of masala on top of the eggs.
  • Fold the banana leaf including masala egg and tie it using a thread
  • Heat Dosa pan and then fry the banana leaf folded egg masala for 3 to 4 min. flip the folded egg masala and fry for another 3 to 4 min
  • Tasty Egg masala in banana leaf is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Green gram sprout – ¼ Cup
  • Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
  • Curd – 250 ml
  • Mustard seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Green chilli – 5 Small
  • Mustard seeds – ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt as required
  • Dried red chilli – 2
  • Curry leaves as required
  • Mustard seeds – ½ Cup


Preparation:-
  • Steam green gram sprout until it is cooked
  • Take a mixer jar and half grind grated coconut, green chilli, half portion of curd.
  • Add half portion mustard seeds and grind again
  • Transfer cooked sprout into another vessel and add grinded coconut, salt to taste, curry leaves and mix it well
  • Heat a pan and pour required oil. Splutter mustard seeds and then add dried red chilli and curry leaves. Transfer the spluttered mustard into the Pachadi
  • Tasty Green Gram Sprout Pachadi is ready to serve

 Ingredients:-
  • Split Chickpeas / Chana Dal – 1 Cup
  • Jaggery Syrup – 350 Gram Melted
  • Coconut milk Second Extract – 2 ¼ Cup
  • Coconut milk First Extract – ¾ Cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Ginger Powder – ½ Teaspoon
  • Cut Coconut- 2 ½ Table spoon
  • Cashew nuts and raisins as required
  • Salt a pinch
  • Ghee as required


Preparation:-
  • Heat a pan and fry Chana Dal/split chickpeas
  • Take a cooker and cook Chana Dal/split chickpeas by adding required water
  • Take out half portion of Chana Dal/split chickpeas into another bowl and smash rest half using spatula
  • Transfer fried Chana Dal/split chickpeas into the pan and also pour melted jaggery syrup and mix it well
  • Pour second coconut milk extract and boil
  • Switch off the stove once it reaches the required consistency and then pour first coconut milk extract
  • Add a pinch of salt, ginger powder and cardamom powder and mix it well
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry cut coconut, cashew nuts and raisins
  • Transfer fried cut coconut, cashew nuts and raisins into the payasam and mix it well
  • Tasty Kadala Parippu Payasam is ready to serve

  • Ridge Gourd – ½ portion of a medium size
  • Onion – 1 Medium Size
  • Grated coconut- ¼ Cup

Preparation:-
  • Clean ridge gourd and cut it into small pieces
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add onion and sauté well
  • Transfer ridge gourd, salt to taste, turmeric powder, curry leaves into the pan and continue sautéing
  • Close the vessel and cook
  • Crush grated coconut and green chilli
  • Transfer crushed coconut into the pan and mix it well. Close the vessel and cook for few min
  • Tasty Ridge Gourd Stir Fry is ready to serve

Ingredients:-
  • Chicken – ½ Kg
  • Whole Kashmiri Chilli – 12
  • Turmeric Powder – ¾ Teaspoon
  • Chicken Masala- 2 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – ¾ Teaspoon
  • Ginger paste-1 Teaspoon
  • Grated coconut- ¾ Cup
  • Vinegar- 1 Tablespoon
  • Curry Leaves as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed


Preparation:-
  • Boil Kashimiri chillies for 10 to 15 min
  • Take out the chillies from water and grind it
  • Marinate the chicken by adding 2 to 2 ½ Tablespoon Kashmiri chilli paste, salt to taste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ginger paste, chicken masala, garam masala, curry leaves and vinegar
  • Keep it inside the refrigerator for at least half an hour to get it set
  • Take a bowl and add Kashmiri chilli paste, salt, turmeric powder, grated coconut and mix it well
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the chicken pieces and keep it aside
  • Fry the grated coconut into the same oil by adding few curry leaves
  • Once the coconut is crispy add fried chicken in to it and mix well
  • Tasty Payyoli Chicken Fry is ready to serve
