Kerala Special Chakka Puzhukku | Chakkakkuru puzhukku| Jackfruit Recipe
Ingredients:-
- Jackfruit – ½ portion of a medium Jackfruit
- Jackfruit seeds – 10 to 15
- Shallot – 6
- Garlic 3
- Turmeric Powder– 1 Tea spoon
- Chilli Powder – 1 Tea Spoon
- Salt
- Coconut grated- ½ Cup
- Cumin Seeds – ¼ Tea spoon
- Seasoning:-
- Oil
- Onion – 1
- Garlic – 2
- Mustard – ¼ Tsp
- Curry leaves
Preparation:-
- Cut Jackfruit and Jackfruit seeds into small pieces
- Add shallot and garlic
- Add crushed cumin seeds
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt to taste into Jackfruit and Jackfruit seeds and cook well
- Add grated coconut into cooked jackfruit and mix well
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds
- Add onion and garlic and sauté
- Add curry leaves and then transfer that it into the puzhukku
- Tasty Chakka Puzhukku is ready to serve
