How to prepare Navrathri Special Chavvari Vada | Sago Vada| Sabudana Vada | Evening Snack
This is a special vada prepared using Sago/Chavvari/Sabudana. This Chavvari vada tastes totally different from other Vada varieties. Sago rice vada is prepared during navarathri and it is one of the special snacks to be eaten during Dussehra. Please follow the way how I have prepared this special Sabudana Vada and let me know your feedback.
How to prepare Chavvari Vada | Navrathri Special Sago Vada| Sabudana Vada | Evening Snack
Ingredients:-
- Sago /Sabudana rice – 1 Cup
- Potato boiled – 2
- Groundnut – ½ Cup
- Ginger – 1 Teaspoon
- Cumin Seeds – ½ Teaspoon
- Green Chilli - 2
- Salt as required
- Coriander leaves as required
- Oil as needed
Preparation:-
- Crush groundnut using a mixer
- Smash cooked potatoes
- Take a vessel and add sago/sabudana rice, smashed potato, crushed groundnut, Cumin seeds, ginger, Green chilli, Coriander leaves, salt to taste and mix it well
- Take handful of sago/sabudana mixture and shape it for making Vada
- Heat oil in a pan and fry both sides at low to medium flame
- Tasty Sago/Sabudana vada is ready to serve
