Kerala Special Chakka Curry | Chakkakkuru curry | Malabar Special Jackfruit Curry
Ingredients:-
- Jackfruit – 1 ½ to 2 Cup
- Jackfruit seeds – 10
- Turmeric Powder– ½ Tea spoon
- Chilli Powder – 1 Tea Spoon
- Salt
- Coconut grated- ½ Cup
- Cumin Seeds – ¼ Tea spoon
- Turmeric Powder – A pinch
- Seasoning:-
- Onion – 1
- Garlic – 2 or 3
- Mustard – ¼ Tsp
- Dry chilli – 2
- Curry leaves
Preparation:-
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt to taste, Jackfruit, Jackfruit seeds and cook well
- Grind coconut with cumin seeds and turmeric powder
- Add ground coconut paste into cooked Jackfruit and boil
- Heat oil in a pan Splutter mustard seeds. Add onion, garlic into the pan and saute. Add red chilli and curry leaves. Transfer that it into the curry
- Tasty Chakka Curry / Jackfruit Curry is ready to serve
