Banana Snacks | Evening Snack | Nendrapazham Snack | Aval NalumaniPalaharam
Ingredients:-
- Banana - 1
- Aval – ½ Cup
- Grated Coconut – ½ Cup
- Jaggery – ¼ Cup
- Wheat flour – 1 Cup
- Cardamom Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
- Ghee – 2 Table Spoon
- Salt
Preparation:-
- Add ghee in a pan and heat
- Add banana and stir
- Add aval and grated coconut into it and mix well
- Add jaggery and cardamom powder and fry the banana
- Switch off the stove
- Prepare a batter using wheat flour and salt
- Make a balls from banana
- Coat with batter
- Fry it

Ingredients:-
- Tapioca – 750 gm
- Egg - 6
- Onion – 3
- Ginger – ½ inch
- Garlic – 5 Pods
- Green Chilli - 2
- Curry leaves
- Turmeric – ½ Teaspoon
- Chilli Powder – ½ Teaspoon
- Coriander Powder – 1 Teaspoon
- Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon
- Garam Masala – ½ Teaspoon
- Salt
- Coconut Oil
- Cook Tapioca by adding salt, Turmeric and water
- Heat a pan add Coconut Oil
- Add ginger, garlic, green chilli, curry leaves and sauté well
- Add onion, salt and sauté well
- Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder and sauté again
- Add eggs and mix well
- Add pepper powder and garam masala and mix
- Add Tapioca and mix

Ingredients:-
- Pineapple – 900 grm
- Sugar - 750 gm
- Cardamom - 3
- Cinnamon – 1 piece
- Cloves -3
- Water – 1 1/2Litre
- Yeast – 3/4 Teaspoon
- Whole
wheat or broken wheat– 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Preparation:-
- Take a big pot/vessel and add sliced pineapple, sugar into it and mix it well
- Add cloves, cinnamon mix it again.
- Add yeast into the vessel and mix it again
- Pour cooled boiled water into the vessel and mix it well. Make sure you leave 25% space as it the mixture will rise gradually.
- Add wheat and mix well.
- Close the vessel using a lid and also cover it using a cloth
- Keep it in a dark place and stir well everyday morning around same time for 2 to 3 min for next 20 days
- 21st day Open the cover and stir well and then filter the wine.
- Pour the wine into a bottle.

Ingredients:-
- Bread Slice - 2
- Egg – 2
- Milk – 3 Tblspoon
- Grated Carrot – 1 Tblspoon
- Cheese -2 Tbls
- Pepper Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
- Tomato Sauce or pizza sauce
- Butter
- Chilli Flakes
- Salt As needed
- Cut the bread slice
- Beat the egg by adding milk and salt
- Add egg into bread and mix
- Add carrot and pepper powder and mix
- Heat pan and add butter
- Pour egg and bread mixture into it
- Cover and cook 3 to 5 min low flame
- Flip to the other side
- Add sauce and spread it
- Add cheese and chili flakes
- Cover it again cook for another 2 more min

- Moong Dal with skin – 1 Cup
- Onion - 2
- Tomato -1
- Coriander leaves
- Garlic - 3 pods
- Green Chilli – 2
- Turmeric Powder – ½ Teaspoon

- Garam Masala - ½ Teaspoon
- Cumin seeds – ½ Teaspoon
- Fresh Cream - 1 Table Spoon
- Oil
- Salt As needed
- Water
- Add water and cook Moong dal
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds
- Add onion and salt. Saute well
- Add garlic and green chilli and saute
- Add turmeric powder and chilli powder and mix well
- Add tomato and cook well
- Add cooked moong dal into it and mix
- Add water into it and cook
- Add garam masala and coriander leaves and mix well
- Add fresh cream if needed

Vellayappam/Palappam is one of the favorite breakfast in Kerala. If you visit any restaurants in Kerala you will find Vellayappam/appam as one of the breakfast item. Every home in a week on rotation vellayappam/appam is prepared as one day’s breakfast. This soft vellayappam/appam can be eaten with varieties of curries like Kadala, Cherupayar, Stew etc but famous curry to be used along with vellayappam is egg curry / mutta curry. Vellayappam can be prepared using rice, ragi, wheat etc. Here I am showing how to prepare vellayappam/palappam using Jowar Flour. Please watch the video and let us know your feedback as comment.

Ingredients:-
- Jowar Flour – 2 Cup
- Rice flour – 1 Cup
- Aval – ½ Cup
- Yeast - 1/ 2 Teaspoon
- Salt As needed
- Water
Preparation:-
- Take a mixer jar and add Jowar, rice flour, yeast, sugar, water and grind it well
- Transfer the ground batter into a vessel and add salt on top of it. Keep it aside for 6 to 8 hours
- After 8 hours take out the batter and stir it well
- Heat a pan suitable to make appam (Appam Chatti) and pour a spoon full batter and spread it over. Close the vessel using lid for 2 to 3 min.
- After 2 to 3 min take out the appam
- Tasty Jowar appam / Vellayappam is ready to serve
