Shark Curry | Special Sraavu Curry | Shark Curry with Coconut gravy | Thalassery Special Sraavu Curry
Ingredients:-
- Shark- 300 gm
- Turmeric – 1 Teaspoon
- Chilli Powder – 2 ½ Teaspoon
- Salt
- Tomato – 1 big
- Ginger – ½ Inch
- Green Chilli – 3
- Curry leaves
- Tamarind water from 1 lemon size tamarind
- Coconut – 1 ½ Cup
- Cumin Seeds – ¼ Teaspoon
- Mustard Seeds
- Oil
Preparation:-
- Marinate the fish with salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder
- Cut and add Tomato, ginger, green chilli and curry leaves into the fish
- Add Tamarind pulp and mix well
- Add required amount of water and cook
- Grind coconut and cumin seeds
- Once the fish is cooked add coconut mixture into the curry and allow to boil
- Splutter mustard seeds and add into curry
