How to prepare Shark Curry with Coconut gravy | Thalassery Special Sraavu Curry 

Shark Curry | Special Sraavu Curry | Shark Curry with Coconut gravy | Thalassery Special Sraavu Curry 


Ingredients:- 

  • Shark- 300 gm
  • Turmeric – 1 Teaspoon
  • Chilli Powder – 2 ½ Teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Tomato – 1 big
  • Ginger – ½ Inch
  • Green Chilli – 3
  • Curry leaves
  • Tamarind water from 1 lemon size tamarind
  • Coconut – 1 ½ Cup
  • Cumin Seeds – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Oil

Preparation:-

  • Marinate the fish with salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder
  • Cut and add Tomato, ginger, green chilli and curry leaves into the fish
  • Add Tamarind pulp and mix well
  • Add required amount of water and cook
  • Grind coconut and cumin seeds
  • Once the fish is cooked add coconut mixture into the curry and allow to boil
  • Splutter mustard seeds and add into curry
