Cherupayar Parippu Halwa | Moong Dal Halwa
Ingredients:-
- Green Gram - 1 cup (Soaked)
- Sugar – 1 ½ Cup
- Milk – 1 Cup
- Ghee – ½ Cup
- Cardamom Powder – 2 Teaspoon
- Saffron – 3 to 4 strands
- Dry Fruits as required
Preparation:-
- Grind soaked green gram using a mixer grinder and make a fine paste
- Heat ghee in a pan, transfer ground green gram paste into the pan and sauté well
- Add sugar into the pan and continue sautéing
- Pour milk into the pan and then saffron strand and mix it well
- Add cardamom powder and dry fruits into the halwa and mix it well
- Switch off the stove once it reaches the required consistency
- Tasty Cherupayar Parippu Halwa / Moong Dal Halwa is ready to serve
